VP, Growth & Strategy

Location: New York, Connecticut, Los Angeles, Seattle, Atlanta, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston.

Working arrangements: Hybrid, with travel as required. Remote working will also be considered.

Reporting to: SVP, Head of Growth and Strategy, North America

As VP, Growth & Strategy, you'll lead strategic business development efforts to win new clients and expand relationships with existing ones across Hospitality, Travel, Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Technology, and Retail sectors.

You'll connect clients with Kantar's full range of expertise, helping them solve complex business challenges and make confident decisions that drive sustainable growth.

This is a senior individual contributor role for an accomplished commercial leader with deep industry expertise and an established network across the US market. You'll own the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities through to closing high-value deals, while helping shape industry conversations through thought leadership and strategic partnerships.

You'll join a business that is investing in data, analytics, AI, and connected intelligence while partnering with some of the world's most recognised brands. Your work will directly influence how organisations grow and compete in an increasingly complex market.

What you'll be doing

  • Drive new business growth while expanding strategic relationships with selected existing clients across key industries.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and closing.
  • Build relationships with senior decision-makers and lead insight-driven conversations that uncover business challenges and growth opportunities.
  • Develop account growth plans using market insight, industry relationships, and Kantar's expertise to help clients achieve their business goals.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline, providing accurate forecasting and clear visibility of revenue opportunities.
  • Lead proposal and pitch development, bringing together Kantar experts to create compelling and differentiated client solutions.
  • Represent Kantar in the market through industry events, thought leadership, and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead and quarterback multidisciplinary teams to identify opportunities, share expertise, and deliver exceptional client outcomes.

The ideal skills and experience

We're looking for a commercially driven leader who combines industry expertise with a strong track record of business development and relationship management.

You'll likely bring:

  • Deep expertise in one or more of the following sectors: Hospitality, Travel, QSR, CPG, Technology, or Retail.
  • Proven success winning new business and growing strategic client relationships.
  • Experience selling market research, analytics, consulting, data, or insight-led solutions.
  • A strong record of securing large, complex commercial engagements.
  • An established executive-level network within one or more target industries.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships with senior business leaders through consultative and insight-led conversations.
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to navigate complex negotiations.
  • Experience working across multidisciplinary teams to develop impactful client solutions,

The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $185,000 per year, plus competitive variable compensation. Your final base salary will be determined based on several factors, which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
