About this role

About this Role

The Liquidity Solutions Team sits within ETF Markets, part of BlackRock's BGM platform, and is the firm's front line for ETF trading expertise, market intelligence, and ecosystem engagement across EMEA.

Alongside Primary- and Secondary Markets teams, the Liquidity Solutions Team connects clients, internal partner teams, and external ETF ecosystem participants. This is a client-facing role at the intersection of markets, content, and innovation. You will deliver high-quality trading guidance and education, build trusted relationships across the ecosystem, and help position the ETF wrapper beyond traditional use cases.

We are looking for someone who can operate independently, thinks like an owner, and combines deep market curiosity with the ability to produce compelling, client-ready content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and drive client engagement across EMEA, delivering expert ETF trading, liquidity, and market-structure guidance to end clients and internal Sales partners.

  • Create high-quality, differentiated content — pre-trade analyses, post-trade case studies, ecosystem & market-insights pieces — for clients, ecosystem partners, and internal teams.

  • Explore and develop applications of the ETF wrapper as a financial instrument, including ETF options, lending, collateral, and algorithmic execution strategies.

  • Educate external and internal stakeholders on ETF ecosystem topics, trading best practices, and emerging liquidity themes — positioning iShares as the go-to products.

  • Disseminate real-time market intelligence and liquidity insights across the Sales teams to sharpen commercial conversations.

  • Leverage technology to scale coverage, streamline workflows, and enhance the quality and speed of content delivery.

Attributes
  • Independent, self-motivated, and confident — comfortable taking ownership and driving outcomes.

  • Intellectually curious — drawn to exploring new angles, challenging status quo, and identifying untapped opportunities.

  • Strong communicator who can distill complex technical topics into clear, actionable insight — whether in writing, on a call, or in front of an audience.

  • Analytical and rigorous, with strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.

  • Collaborative and adaptable — thrives in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment while managing competing priorities.

Knowledge / Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience, ideally within ETF trading, sales & trading, capital markets, or market‑structure related roles.

  • Strong understanding of ETFs, liquidity dynamics, and overall ecosystem.

  • Derivatives background or working knowledge is a strong plus.

Skills / Qualifications
  • Degree in a quantitative or finance‑related discipline (Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or similar).

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; additional European language(s) are a plus.

  • Proven content-development and presentation skills — ability to translate technical insight into polished, client-ready material.

  • Comfortable and enthusiastic about using AI tools to enhance productivity, content creation, and workflow efficiency.
