We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Client Services to join our Corporate Trust team. This role is located in Manchester, UK.


In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Provide day-to-day oversight of assigned portfolios to ensure high Client Experience Levels and support multiple, complex client accounts.
  • Manage transactions including Cash & Trade (Loans, Bonds, etc.) with oversight capabilities—engage with clients to ensure timely execution, review reports, prepare portfolio performance reports, and monitor service levels.
  • Collaborate through continuous dialogue and open communication with Lead Manager and Group Manager regarding the status of work completed by supporting teams.
  • Lead and participate in internal activities and initiatives designed to improve the client experience and help develop process improvements.
  • Prepare and distribute notices to clients and each syndicate lender as required by the Credit Facility, including reminders, rollovers, and rate sets.
  • Calculate interest rates for each accrual period and distribute rate set notices.
  • Track and pay multiple lenders in a single interest period, removing Lender of Record claims.
  • Bill and collect principal, interest, and fee payments from clients; distribute all funds collected to syndicate lenders.
  • Collect financial statements and compliance requirements from clients as required by the Credit Facility; forward such information to each syndicate lender accordingly.
  • Process lender assignments and maintain the official lender register.
  • Fully support official Alternative Reference Rates in accordance with published conventions.
  • Play a key role in training support team members on client and deal-specific requirements.
  • Develop strong working relationships with Front Office Relationship Managers.
  • Identify and resolve issues while serving as a high-level escalation point for complex situations, ensuring successful resolution.
  • Resolve complex or non-routine client issues or inquiries as needed.
  • Act as a central point of contact for business development and assume client onboarding and/or risk management responsibilities.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Experience in Corporate Trust or related financial markets/securities industry (with specific experience in the role of facility/security agent).
  • Strong client management experience and ability to review deal governing documents.
  • Experience in loans (syndicated, bi-lateral, real estate) is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of the products administered by the group and thorough knowledge of risk management and control practices.
  • Proactive monitoring and management of activities performed within business partners outside of Ireland.
  • Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and experience analyzing information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel.
