We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Venture Building Intern to join our dynamic innovation team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of new and exciting ventures within the retail energy sector. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, adaptable, and passionate about contributing to a collaborative and fast-paced environment. This role will provide hands-on experience in market research, data analysis, and project support, with a focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing

Conduct customer and market research to identify emerging trends and potential opportunities in the retail energy sector.

  • Assist in the development of business plans and feasibility studies for new ventures.

  • Support the team in data collection, analysis, and reporting, utilising tools such as Powerpoint and Excel.

  • Contribute to the creation of presentations and reports summarising findings and recommendations.

  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop innovative ideas for new products and services.

  • Provide administrative and project support as needed.

  • Provide input into the digital marketing components of the go-to-market planning.

Are we the perfect match?

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, IT or a related field

  • Strong interest in the energy sector and innovation.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Powerpoint & Excel.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and teamworking skills.

  • The role may close earlier due to high application volume.  

  • Please note that a cover letter is required as part of your application. Applications submitted without one will not be progressed.

  • Fixed-term contract from June to August 2026 (3 months). You must be available for the full duration of the contract.
