VAM Portfolio Manager

Currently, we are looking for a VAM Portfolio Manager to join our highly motivated and inspired team in Zentiva. The primary purpose of this role will be to maximise our Value-Added Medicines (VAM) portfolio with targeted promotion, clear forecasting and robust execution of the go-to-market plans.

While the successful candidate will have P&L ownership for the overall success of VAMs, they will collaborate closely with the Commercial, Business development, Regulatory and Medical teams to ensure strategic understanding and tactical delivery of the plans.

What Would Be Your Main Responsibilities

Overall strategic success of the channel:

  • Delivers on the overall budgeted P&L for this channel
  • Drives awareness & growth of the Zentiva portfolio through customer interactions and relationship development within key NHS organisations; compile robust & measurable go to market plans
  • Using market insight Support the Head of BD to identify and qualify new leads, for new and unique strengths of medicine
  • Be seen as the “go to person” with regards to knowledge, networks, environmental conditions and changes regarding the VAM portfolio.

Develops, owns, drives and delivers marketing & Key Account Plans for the Value-Added Medicines to ensure that all appropriate patients have access:

  • Achieves pre-launch and post-launch KPIs, including sales and volume targets
  • Drives key account prioritisation
  • Drives patient group identification, diagnosis, pathways, access and trends and reflects with in key account plans
  • Presents a positive image of Zentiva and develops awareness of the newly available Value-Added Medicines to relevant customer groups
  • Implements marcomms activities to reach target audience

We Need You To Have

  • 5+ years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to influence relationships and leverage knowledge at all levels across a matrix structure, in line with the agreed joint business plan.
  • Detailed knowledge of primary and secondary care market, product supply routes, and the associated financial structures and reimbursement
  • Proven track record of successful sales results and ability to meet or exceed objectives
  • Understanding of ABPI Code of Practice and all corporate policies and their practical application.
  • Ability to rapidly and accurately assess and communicate business opportunities and capitalize upon them.
  • Ability to accurately forecast sales results based on a robust environmental understanding and positive attitude to achieving business goals.
  • Highly analytical
