The Role

We're looking for a Senior Social Manager to own the success of a portfolio of accounts, fuelling client growth through bespoke, market-leading channel strategies on some of our largest clients, while managing and developing junior team members working under them.

This role requires building strong client relationships, ensuring high-quality campaign delivery and strategy, identifying growth opportunities, and fostering team development. You'll be trusted to lead on strategy independently, with clients viewing you as a genuine strategic partner rather than a day-to-day contact.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning accounts end-to-end, driving both client growth and team development, and shaping how our channel proposition evolves.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationships
  • Own and build long-lasting relationships with key client contacts, with the client viewing you as a trusted partner and a reason to continue working with Incubeta
  • Ensure clients receive proactive updates on performance, actions, and strategy to support account growth
  • Manage communications within your area of responsibility, ensuring they are in line with client needs and add value
  • Confidently and clearly communicate strategic outcomes, insights, and recommendations in calls and meetings, highlighting current and future plans and their value
  • Act as a point of escalation for client queries or issues, including on smaller accounts sitting within your team
  • Immerse yourself in the business on key clients, with a strong understanding of their business, priorities, competitors, and product
Account Management & Strategy
  • Ensure the setup, implementation, and ongoing management of campaigns and budgets is to a high standard, aligned with best practices and meeting client goals
  • Implement and follow QA processes to ensure high-quality execution
  • Ensure the rollout of our proposition across accounts, including effective use of our proprietary technology
  • Complete forecasts for existing clients as accurately as possible, utilising templates and all available data sources
  • Ensure there is a clear, forward-looking strategic plan in place within your remit on accounts, aligned with client size, goals, and long-term growth
  • Independently own channel strategy on your accounts with no input required from Client Directors
  • Proactively roll out new tests and ideas to improve performance, effectively analysing and communicating conclusions and next steps
  • Independently and successfully manage large client projects within your remit
  • Drive the improvement and development of our channel proposition, best practices, and team processes
  • Support our external brand through marketing collateral
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of platform, industry, or wider digital marketing changes that may impact activity, proactively feeding these back to clients and into strategy
  • Ensure smaller accounts owned by direct reports are managed to a high standard, achieving performance goals and maximising GP
  • Support client satisfaction across all Incubeta services on small and medium accounts
  • Where no Client Director is present, confidently lead on overall account strategy, ensuring client satisfaction across all Incubeta services
Identifying Growth Opportunities
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Incubeta's services, supporting client growth through cross-sells of additional services or increases in scope or budget
  • Support in identifying and selling similar opportunities on smaller accounts owned by team members
  • Identify and lead the development of new avenues of GP, such as new products, tools, dashboards, or commercialising existing solutions
  • Lead strategy for smaller new business proposals cross-channel, supporting the new business team in demonstrating value for clients
  • Lead channel strategy for large new business proposals, including impactful audit insights and forecasts, while supporting wider strategy pieces
Team Management & Development
  • Support direct reports' professional development, providing regular constructive feedback and setting clear performance expectations, managing any performance challenges professionally and effectively
  • Support direct reports in achieving their OKRs in line with business goals, with monthly check-ins to review progress
  • Support direct reports and junior team members with prioritisation, in line with task urgency and client priority
  • Ensure balanced and clear delegation of tasks and workload amongst the junior team on shared accounts
  • Share efficiencies, learnings, and strategies from your accounts with the wider team to support broader development
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience managing large, complex client accounts within a performance marketing or digital media agency
  • A track record of building trusted, strategic client relationships that drive retention and advocacy, not just delivery
  • Strong campaign management and QA discipline, with the ability to run channel strategy independently
  • Demonstrated success identifying and converting growth opportunities, including cross-sell and new business contribution
  • Experience managing and developing junior team members, including performance feedback and OKR support
  • Confidence leading overall account strategy in the absence of a Client Director
  • A proactive, test-and-learn mindset, with genuine interest in improving agency proposition and process
Why Join Us
  • Own strategy and delivery across some of our largest, most strategically important accounts
  • Genuine autonomy to lead channel strategy without requiring Client Director sign-off
  • Direct input into shaping Incubeta's wider channel proposition, best practices, and team processes
  • Clear scope to grow team leadership experience, developing junior team members
  • Be part of a collaborative, high-performance Digital Media team with strong new business involvement
