Lloyd’s is the world’s leading insurance and reinsurance marketplace, bringing together the world’s leading risk takers to advance global progress.

Our strategy is focused on delivering strong underwriting performance, operating an efficient and flexible marketplace, and maximising the capital advantage of the Lloyd’s market — while continuing to build a Lloyd’s we are proud of.

How we deliver this, matters. We take the risk, make things happen, and own the outcome — working together across our global network to turn insight into impact.

Lloyd’s is recruiting for a Transformation Management Office Lead to help shape how change happens across Lloyd’s. This is an enterprise leadership role with real influence. You’ll give our senior leaders a clear view of our change portfolio, helping us make better decisions about where we invest, what we prioritise and how we turn ambition into sustained value. You won’t own every programme or business outcome. Instead, you’ll create the environment in which great delivery can happen: bringing clarity, evidence, constructive challenge and confidence to some of our most important decisions.

What you’ll do

You’ll lead and develop our Transformation Management Office across portfolio planning, governance and assurance, delivery excellence and value realisation.

You’ll:

  • Create a clear, trusted enterprise view of change, covering investment, capacity, dependencies, delivery health, outcomes and value.
  • Shape and prioritise our portfolio, helping senior leaders make informed investment, sequencing and capacity decisions.
  • Lead our Change Delivery Framework, improving governance, decision rights and controls while keeping them proportionate and practical.
  • Provide independent assurance, identifying risks early and helping leaders take timely corrective action.
  • Set clear delivery standards, methods, tools and data expectations, while building capability across our change community.
  • Strengthen how we define, measure and realise value, from the initial case for change through to post-implementation review.
  • Turn complex portfolio information into concise, forward-looking insight for executive and governance forums.
  • Build an inclusive, high-performing TMO that’s trusted by sponsors, business owners, programme leaders and delivery teams.

What you’ll bring

You’ll be an accomplished transformation or portfolio leader who can see the bigger picture without losing sight of what makes change succeed.

  • Significant experience leading an enterprise PMO, EPMO, TMO, portfolio function or comparable transformation capability.
  • Strong experience shaping and governing complex portfolios of business and technology change.
  • The confidence and judgement to advise senior executives, facilitate difficult decisions and challenge constructively.
  • A strong understanding of portfolio management, governance, assurance, risk and controls.
  • Experience improving delivery frameworks, standards, reporting and governance.
  • A track record of connecting investment and delivery to measurable outcomes and value.
  • Strong analytical and commercial judgement, with the ability to turn complexity into clear choices.
  • Leadership experience that shows you can build capability, create clarity and help diverse teams perform at their best.
  • Experience in financial services, insurance, reinsurance or another complex regulated environment would be valuable, but we’re also interested in the perspective you can bring from elsewhere.
  • Relevant portfolio, programme, project or change qualifications such as MoP, MSP, P3O, PRINCE2, APM, PMI or Prosci are welcome, but they’re not the only way to demonstrate your expertise.

Being inclusive at Lloyd’s is integral to how we work — and how we deliver impact.
We aim to build a diverse, inclusive environment that reflects the global markets we serve, where everyone is treated with dignity and respect and supported to reach their full potential.

We take the risk by challenging traditional thinking and being proactive about inclusion. That means being open and positive about workplace adjustments, prioritising health and wellbeing, and investing in diversity and inclusion training so everyone feels able to contribute and succeed.

We make things happen by turning our commitment into action. Through employee networks, mentoring, volunteering opportunities and sustained investment in professional development, we create an environment where inclusion is experienced day‑to‑day — not just talked about.

We own the outcome by focusing on impact. By bringing together diverse perspectives and the best minds in the industry, we work collaboratively with underwriters and brokers to create innovative, responsive solutions that share risk and solve complex problems across global markets.
