About the Role

Level - 2

Department - HR/ QC Training & Competence

Contract - Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a Training & Competence (T&C) Co-ordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with an interest in Training & Competence and a passion for learning, development and the continuous growth of workforce skills.

As a key member of the T&C team, you will provide essential administrative support to help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the function. Working with stakeholders across the business, you will gain valuable exposure to this important regulatory area while building strong internal relationships and developing your technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain Training & Competence records, systems, databases and spreadsheets.

  • Manage T&C administration processes for new joiners, leavers and employee changes.

  • Coordinate induction programmes and training activities for new employees.

  • Provide guidance and administrative support in relation to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

  • Support the organisation and delivery of examinations and training programmes for Trainee Investment Managers.

  • Assist with cyclical T&C activities, including the annual competence reassessment process.

  • Act as a key contact for professional and industry bodies, maintaining employee memberships and registrations.

  • Process invoices and support budget-related administration.

  • Maintain and update the T&C SharePoint site and associated resources.

  • Provide administrative support for T&C projects and business initiatives as required.

About You

  • Experience in an administrative or coordination role within a financial services or professional services environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • An interest in learning about the Training & Competence (T&C) framework and regulatory requirements within Financial Services.
  • Ability to manage routine day to day activities while effectively prioritising cyclical and time sensitive tasks.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • A desire for supporting learning, development and the growth of people across the organisation.
  • Experience using Excel to create and maintain reports, including functions such as VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables (desirable).
