What’s the role about?

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-focused Trainee Product Developer to join our team. This is an entry-level role designed to give you hands-on experience in product development, supporting the journey of garments from initial concept through to delivery. You’ll work closely with designers, suppliers, and internal teams, gaining a strong understanding of costings, sourcing, and sustainability while building the foundations for a successful career in fashion product development.

Who you are

  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail.
  • A clear communicator who enjoys working with different teams.
  • Curious and eager to learn about product development and the fashion industry.
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, trackers, and systems.
  • Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic about problem-solving.

What you’ll be doing

  • Logging new tech packs on trackers and keeping them updated with changes.
  • Supporting Product Developers by following up on queries and sample timelines.
  • Monitoring sample deliveries, logging them in, and ensuring they are handed over to the right teams.
  • Updating costing databases with fabric information and initial supplier costings.
  • Assisting with chasing supplier costings and learning how to analyse margins.
  • Keeping systems updated with costings and retail prices to support critical path management.
  • Helping communicate with suppliers, supporting fabric sourcing, and assisting in developing new options under PD guidance.
  • Supporting sustainability initiatives by helping collect certifications and exploring new practices with the CSR team.

What we’ll do for you

  • Competitive salary and company bonus.
  • Up to 65% employee discount.
  • Access to exclusive sample sales.
  • Aviva DigiCare+ wellbeing services.
  • Medicash health support plan.
  • Workplace pension contributions.
  • Enhanced parental leave policies.
  • Electric Vehicle scheme via Octopus Energy.
  • Cycle to Work programme.
  • Season ticket travel loan.
  • Plus further workplace benefits.
