As a Trade Lifecycle Associate in Market Operations, you will support day-to-day equities settlement and transaction processing to help ensure timely, accurate trade completion. You will manage operational deliverables, partner closely with stakeholders, and contribute to process improvements that strengthen efficiency and control. You will work Asia Pacific shift hours and help the team meet service and risk standards.
Job responsibilities- Support daily trade lifecycle deliverables, including releasing settlement instructions and progressing trades through core settlement systems
- Reopen, investigate, and resolve settlement exceptions, including fails and breaks, with timely escalation when needed
- Perform inventory and position management activities and complete inter-company reconciliations ahead of settlement date
- Monitor service quality and ensure tasks are completed accurately and within agreed timelines
- Follow documented operating procedures and identify gaps where procedure updates are needed
- Document and maintain process materials, including standard operating procedures, and complete periodic reviews and updates
- Identify opportunities for control enhancements and support implementation of agreed improvements
- Produce daily and weekly operational statistics and provide clear status updates to stakeholders
- Participate in global and local initiatives, including new business activities, system enhancements, and market rule changes
- Support process re-engineering efforts to improve efficiency, transparency, and risk outcomes
- 4 years of experience in banking, financial services, or treasury operations, or a closely related operational role
- Experience supporting trade management and settlements, including handling exceptions through to resolution
- Ability to execute time-sensitive operational tasks accurately in a high-volume environment
- Demonstrated understanding of operational risk, controls, audit readiness, and adherence to policies and regulations
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
- Strong organization skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables to deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Flexibility to work Asia Pacific shift hours, including holidays or extended hours on high-volume days when required
- Experience in equities settlements or market operations
