As Title Producer, UK, you will support members in experiencing high-quality dubbed audio and expertly crafted subtitles, preserving creative intent and enhancing the localised experience for viewers everywhere. With Netflix's ongoing international expansion, support for new languages, and the introduction of new content formats, providing dubbing and subtitling services is essential to our success, making this an exciting time to join the company.

The Role

The Title Producer team serves as the single point of accountability for the end-to-end localisation process across all assigned titles in their country or slate. This role is responsible for orchestrating the delivery of dubbing, subtitling, main/episodic titles, accessibility, and marketing assets, ensuring that localised content reflects Netflix’s creative vision and meets regional standards for quality and authenticity. This role partners closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Content, Post, Marketing, external partners, and more, to inform localisation strategies, optimise workflows, resolve operational challenges, and drive continuous improvement. By supporting operational excellence, this role plays a critical role in delivering a world-class member experience and supporting the global launch of Netflix content.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Localisation Ownership

  • Fully own the operational and tactical localisation lifecycle for assigned titles, serving as the single point of accountability from initial planning through global launch.
  • Oversee all language assets—including dubbing, subtitling, SDH, audio description, marketing supplementals, metadata, main/episodic titles, and forced narratives—proactively managing cross-functional expectations, timelines, budgets, quality control, and ensuring the launch readiness of localised assets for both long form and trailers.
  • Collaborate on localisation strategy for new content formats, partnering closely with Strategy & Innovation, Vendor Strategy, and Language Production to test and refine workflows.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration

  • Act as the main point of strategic contact between Content, Post, Marketing, Launch Management, and other internal teams, ensuring alignment and seamless communication throughout the localisation process.
  • Facilitate collaboration between Netflix, localisation partners, and Language Producers to align timelines, deliverables, and quality standards. Oversee progress, resolve operational challenges, and ensure consistent, authentic localisation that meets regional objectives.

Project & Workflow Management

  • Plan, schedule, and manage localisation workflows for each assigned title, including setting the language suite strategy and vendor selection, bid management, financial tracking, and asset delivery.
  • Oversee context gathering, complexity assessment, source material distribution, and project tracking while maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring our localisation partners are set up to create localised assets that meet the Netflix creative standard.
  • Analyse localisation metrics and project data to identify opportunities for workflow optimisation and to proactively resolve operational challenges.

Quality, Risk, and Issue Management

  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, as well as troubleshoot and escalate quality or operational issues as needed, to keep projects on track.
  • Analyse title level localisation metrics and data to identify opportunities for workflow optimisation and to proactively resolve operational challenges.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Support the adoption of new practices, workflows, automation, and technology to streamline localisation processes and support the integration of emerging media types (live, video podcasts, interactive experiences, etc.).
  • Proactively identify workflow challenges, propose solutions, and help drive them forward.
  • Foster a culture of partnership, transparency, and continuous improvement within the team and with external partners.

Core Qualifications

  • Experience in localisation in a high-demand environment (typically 5 or more years), ideally in the entertainment industry; experience managing large-scale, cross-functional projects.
  • Systems-thinking and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills; ability to work in collaboration with creative, operational, technical, and product teams.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with experience operating independently on high-visibility titles and campaigns, knowing when to escalate issues.
  • Analytical, data-driven, and solutions-oriented; ability to identify root causes, optimise processes, and drive operational excellence.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities, formats, experimentation, and challenges.
  • Highly organised and able to handle multiple projects at various points of production (from development through delivery).
  • Interest in operational efficiency, localisation, or project management.
  • English language proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in emerging content formats.
  • Additional language skills.
