The Role

Technology Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating multiple projects that span across our Global Data Science & Technology business. This role requires a deep understanding of software development, data science methodologies, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to standardize processes across various projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment and will be adept at communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple DS&T projects simultaneously and maintain a comprehensive overview of all projects, tracking their progress, and understanding technical challenges to effectively manage priorities and resources.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct regular status meetings with project teams and stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues. Host discussions, challenge the team when necessary, and hold team members accountable to ensure project milestones are met
  • Implement and maintain standardized project management processes and methodologies across all data science and technology projects.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for project documentation, reporting, and communication.
  • Ensure consistency and quality in project deliverables.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the front office, technology development team, data science team, and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate project goals, progress, and outcomes to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate collaboration and information sharing between global cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor and manage project risks and issues, escalating as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and team performance.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on overseeing capital projects in the technology sector.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and data science methodologies, tools, and technologies.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
