Background:
The Markets and Post Trade Technology Information Architecture team owns and manages the suite of data models to support JP Morgan's post trade functions. These models standardize the data representation of data interchange across the firm's applications, for all Corporate and Investment Bank products and asset classes. Ours is a highly versatile team, working on a variety of products and functions for a variety of applications. The adoption of standardized models is foundational to a number of strategic transformation programs within the bank.
Goals:
Given the on-going and accelerating growth in the adoption of these models, we are hiring a project manager to manage the evolution of these models to aid the strategic business and technology deliverables.

Working alongside our business/solution analysts, information architects, lines of business teams, and data producer/consumer communities, the role is to oversee and facilitate:
- Requirements management and prioritization
- Sprint planning and delivery management and governance thereof
- Management and quality control of documentation content
- Communications at different levels of stakeholders
- Chairing Data Modeling, Project Working Group, Technical Working Group, Estimation and Retrospective sessions
- Onboarding of new applications to the data models
What we are looking for:
Project Management experience in a complex multi-application environment ideally including:
- Knowledge of derivatives, securities, fund management or retail/commercial banking
- Excellent communication skills, disciplined project management approach; team player
- Data and Information oriented thinking
- Familiarity with data models and information architecture (e.g. entity relationship diagrams or class diagrams, data warehouses/lakes, messaging, etc.)
- Sprint/scrum management
- Stakeholder management
- Experience of Confluence and Jira highly desirable
- Basic data analysis skills are highly desirable
- Familiarity with various industry formats - FpML, FIX, CDM, SWIFT, etc.
