You are the go-to market expert for driving revenue growth by leveraging our global presence and product offering. You coordinate internal teams to help our customers achieve success.

In this role, you will contribute to reach Adyen goals and ambitions, in EMEA and globally, through the value of partnerships, orchestrating internal partnership resources to serve our business stakeholders and be the point of contact for everyone internally and externally. Your focus will be the SAP partnerships, today one of our fastest growing relationships. 

The EMEA Technology Partnership Team is responsible for the development and the success of the commercial relationship with Adyen’s most important partners in the Retail space. The members of the team are based in different offices of the company but they work closely together to increase the payment volume processed via partners and generate business opportunities for Adyen, they play a critical role in both expanding existing accounts and driving net new business. 

What you’ll do
  • Be the catalyst of your assigned partners in EMEA and globally, centralize the knowledge and the strategy, while localizing the execution to each country in the region;
  • Navigating the organization of complex enterprises, building relevant network and expanding the net of ambassadors and influencers for Adyen;
  • Explore joint go-to-market initiatives at scale and investigate possible joint products with partners, look out for innovations that disrupt the field;
  • Orchestrating the wider partnership, Sales and AM teams to drive maximum impact across their prospect and customer accounts;
  • Driving partner recommendations and referrals that lead to new business wins;
  • Building powerful relationships with Adyen's sales, marketing, SDRs and account management teams to drive collective success
  • Attending partner events to promote Adyen's solutions, some of our partnership magic happens outside of typical working hours;
  • Understanding our joint value proposition with our partners and getting them as excited as we are when it comes to partnerships, you will be our chosen nominee
  • Being part of an inspiring and collaborative team environment with an open communication/feedback culture that we know drives success
  • Working closely with our Marketing teams to build best-in-class GTM activities, demonstrating a commercial mindset to deliver strong ROI 
  • Be familiar with the Adyen Partner Program, leverage it to bring new business to Adyen and deliver new benefits to the partners.
Who you are
  • You are a born networker with high energy, self-starter with a hands-on mentality and a commercial edge with an entrepreneurial mindset;
  • You’ll have an in-depth knowledge of the partnership tactics and have the ability to devise innovative new ways of working to achieve both Adyen’s and our partner’s goals and ambitions;
  • You are passionate about the Retail industry and you have knowledge of its dynamics and trends. You are familiar with the enterprise space (better if related to the SAP ecosystem), you have experience in managing partners and winning deals; 
  • Winning is more important than ego; you love working as a team;
  • A proven commercial edge, a track record of delivering results, and the ability to build long-term relationships;
  • A storyteller with excellent presentation skills, able to deliver propositions the audience wants to retell;
  • You have at least 5 years of working experience in a commercial role; 
  • You are willing to travel domestically and internationally, sometimes working outside typical working hours to meet other time-zone availability; 
  • You have full professional proficiency (written and verbal) in German and English, another language is a plus;
  • You will have experience working as part of a global team; 
  • You can balance strategic thinking with world-class execution;
  • You are comfortable with commercial goals and you are excited about creating a measurable impact for the business.
