What you will do:
- Prepare buffers and reagents and perform lab-based purification experiments.
- Operate AKTA chromatography systems, including column packing, HETP analysis, and virus reduction filtration setup.
- Review AKTA/Unicorn methods and conduct small-scale purification chromatography runs.
- Analyse experimental data, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to technical reports.
- Draft new SOPs, sampling plans, and review scopes for external vendors.
- Maintain lab systems, manage freezer inventory, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Support virus commercial stages and train colleagues in a range of lab techniques.
What we are looking for:
- BSc or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline.
- Experience in an industrial laboratory environment, ideally in GLP/GMP settings.
- Hands-on experience with AKTA systems and Unicorn software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development.
