A leading telecoms client seeks a Technical Writer. The ideal candidate will excel at conveying complex information clearly and effectively. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure that all documentation adheres to professional standards and is accessible to users with diverse levels of English proficiency.
This is for a 6-month contract, remote role for a Singapore-based client.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create, edit, and maintain user manuals, technical guides, and online help documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to gather and verify technical information.
- Organize and manage documentation repositories for easy access and version control.
- Ensure all technical documentation adheres to company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough research to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, user-friendly documentation.
- Analyze user feedback to improve documentation quality and usability.
- Work closely with product development, QA, and marketing teams to understand product features and enhancements.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on usability and documentation needs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
- Experience in technical writing, particularly for IT and telecommunications.
- Ability to present complex information in a user-friendly manner.
- Familiarity with technical terminology related to SD-WAN, networking, and cybersecurity.
