THE POSITION:

We are looking for a Technical Writer who will produce working instructions, runbooks and other required documentation for end users throughout northern and western Europe. You will be detail-oriented and able to create clear, thorough documentation for a wide audience.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Transform existing SOP documentation into detailed working instructions for end users in both data center and IT logistics environments
  • Produce new SOPs, working instructions and playbooks to reflect new process, technology and ways of working
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation across the service
  • Collate, organize and optimize documentation into a knowledge management system for end users
  • Distill complex processes and ideas into clear process guides for non-technical audiences
  • Work with site management and SMEs to identify additional documentation gaps, improvements and updates

 

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a networking or data center environment
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Experience in using knowledge management platforms
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

  • Experience in light markup languages
  • Previous experience of working with Confluence
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite
