The Role

Concirrus is a technology company focused on providing AI-first solutions for the Specialty Insurance markets, allowing customers to operate at speed and with confidence.

We are hiring a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to own end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent client and internal projects. This role suits someone who prevents surprises, controls the delivery narrative, and executes with discipline. Experience in London or US insurance markets, regulated or data-heavy environments, or post-sales implementations would be an advantage, along with the ambition to grow into a Senior or Lead TPM role over time.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Clients to ensure delivery is predictable, transparent, and commercially sound.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

  • Risks are identified and addressed early
  • Scope, ownership, and delivery status are always clear
  • Client expectations are managed proactively and transparently
  • Technical trade-offs are clearly explained in business terms
  • Delivery is consistent and predictable

If you enjoy:

  • Preventing problems rather than firefighting
  • Being the person leadership trusts instinctively
  • Owning delivery outcomes end-to-end

You’ll thrive here.

Key Responsibilities

Project Ownership & Delivery

  • Own delivery of 5–8 concurrent projects across implementation, enhancement, and custom development
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, or formally re-baselined with approval
  • Drive clear Definition of Done (DoD) and Project plan for all projects and major workstreams
  • Maintain clear accountability across Product, Engineering, and Customer Success

Risk & Dependency Management

  • Proactively identify delivery risks, dependencies, and constraints
  • Maintain visibility of risks with documented mitigation plans
  • Ensure there are no surprises for leadership or customers

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the single source of truth for project status and delivery narrative
  • Manage customer expectations around scope, timelines, and trade-offs
  • Run structured status calls with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Escalate early, clearly, and with options, never at the last minute

Technical & Business Translation

  • Translate business requirements into execution-ready scope
  • Ensure technical decisions are understood in terms of business impact
  • Challenge ambiguity and incomplete requirements constructively
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to make pragmatic delivery decisions

Execution Discipline

  • Track milestones, commitments, and dependencies with precision
  • Ensure decisions, actions, and ownership are clearly documented
  • Follow through relentlessly until commitments are closed

Qualifications and Skills

Core Experience

  • 4–7 years’ experience as a Technical Project Manager / Delivery Manager
  • Experience delivering SaaS or enterprise software projects
  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Prior exposure to Specialty Insurance (e.g. underwriting, submissions, policy lifecycle, claims, bordereaux, aggregates, etc.)

Technical & Delivery Skills

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile / hybrid)
  • Comfortable working with Engineering teams on technical dependencies and constraints
  • Able to read technical documentation and ask the right questions
  • Experience working with Product Managers and UX teams

Communication & Stakeholder Skills

  • Clear, structured, and assertive communicator
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions and pushing for clarity
  • Able to manage senior client stakeholders with confidence
  • Strong written documentation skills (status reports, DoD, Project Plans, decision logs)

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported. We continuously assess our progress and strive to ensure our actions reflect our commitment to equity and inclusion.

What We Offer

  • A collaborative, high-trust environment with clear delivery standards
  • Flexible hybrid working, up to three days from home
  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits
  • The opportunity to work on complex, real-world insurance challenges
  • Strong leadership support and high ownership
  • Clear pathways into senior delivery leadership roles
