As part of the Global Studio Operations team, the Studio Technical Production team supports global studio production by bringing operational expertise to inform technical tooling and processes. By managing projects involving technical and AI‑enabled tooling, this role serves as an operational and technical partner by managing production processes, testing and shaping production tooling, driving efficiency improvements and supporting studio teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage studio production projects with tech and AI tooling involvement as a client-facing entity from quotation to delivery and invoicing.
  • Act as a super-user of production tools: train new suppliers or internal teams, troubleshoot issues and verify delivered quality of assets.
  • Create guideline documentation, flowcharts and support documents as needed.
  • Test, trial and evaluate new software and processes, as well as their business cases for the purposes of studio production.
  • Build technical test cases for new tooling, providing operational feedback to tech teams and offering solutions that benefit the global studio ecosystem.
  • Liaise with internal Dev and Technical teams to report on tooling issues, feature requests, improvement suggestions and overall developments.
  • Continuously monitor and review technical production processes, suggesting efficiencies and group centralisation.
  • Identify, mitigate risks and track costs, time and effort for new project workflows, supporting senior management in establishing pricing for new services.
  • Generate reports on costs, tooling features, supplier tracking and other elements of production.
  • Serve as a central point of creative oversight and quality control for the generation of AI content for project delivery.
  • Display full understanding of Global Studio Operations processes like Material Checks and Audio Multilingual QC, supporting these initiatives and proposing improvements as needed.
  • Support VSI and partner studios in production processes and tooling.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • High professional level of fluency in written and spoken English + one FIGS language (French, Italian, German or Spanish)
  • 2+ years of project management experience in the media sector, preferably in Dubbing and similar studio localisation work
  • Proven knowledge of end-to-end studio production processes and tools with a technical understanding of relevant AI tech: LLMs, TTS, STS, and similar
  • Excellent organisation, time management, testing and planning skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise and work well both independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent problem-solving and mathematical skills
  • Knowledge of Pro Tools and editing, mixing and lip-sync recording software a plus
