We’re looking for people to join the Access family, who share our passion for believing in better, and who will help us continue to grow.

Love Work. Love Life. Be You. - is central to our success and how we give our customers the freedom to do more of what's important to them.

What does Access offer you?

We offer a blended approach to office working, encouraging you to collaborate and connect in one of our thriving offices. We deliver on what we say, taking the development of our people seriously. We’ll work with you to progress your success plan and provide opportunities to accelerate your career.

On top of a competitive salary, our wellbeing days taking you to 25 days leave a year and a health contribution, you’ll also be able to choose from a range of benefits to suit you. We’re an organisation that likes to give back, so you’ll also have three charity days allocated to support a cause that matters to you.

About you:
You enjoy solving real customer problems and turning them into simple, practical solutions. You’re curious about why things don’t always work smoothly — especially in payments — and you take the time to understand root causes before jumping to answers.
You’re keen to learn how different payment methods, like Direct Debit and card payments, can work together to create one seamless experience. You’re comfortable working with different teams and you ask thoughtful questions to get to the right outcome.
You’re interested in fintech and want to build your knowledge of how connected payment platforms are designed and delivered. Above all, you’re open to learning and eager to grow in a product role.
Day-to-day, you will:
  • Work with the Product Manager to shape ideas and help build a clear roadmap for the Nexus platform, bringing different payment types into one joined-up experience.
  • Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria so engineers know exactly what to build, using simple approaches like Gherkin syntax and the INVEST model.
  • Gather feedback from customers and colleagues across teams like sales, customer success and marketing, and turn this into practical insights.
  • Support sprint activities such as stand-ups, refinement sessions and reviews, helping keep work on track and stepping in when needed.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
  • Experience in a product, business analysis or customer-focused role, ideally within software as a service (SaaS), fintech or payments.
  • Familiarity with Agile ways of working, such as Scrum or Kanban, and how teams deliver work in small, regular increments.
  • Confidence writing user stories or a strong desire to develop this skill quickly.
  • An interest in payments, application programming interfaces (APIs) and connected services, along with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or Aha.
