Tech Projects Implementation Manager
London & South

Competitive Salary
At BaxterStorey, we believe great hospitality is powered by brilliant people and the smart, reliable technology that supports them every day.

We're looking for a Tech Projects Implementation Manager to support the delivery of technology workstreams across BaxterStorey's mobilisation, refurbishment and transformation projects throughout London and the South. Working as part of the Projects Team, you'll help shape technology solutions from the earliest stages of a project, supporting sales bids, undertaking site surveys, defining technology requirements and coordinating implementation through to go-live.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that works across Operations, IT, suppliers and client stakeholders to ensure technology is fully scoped, integrated into wider project plans and successfully deployed in live hospitality environments. You'll play a key role in bringing clarity to complex projects, ensuring technology requirements, infrastructure dependencies and operational needs are considered from concept through to handover.

Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the delivery and physical implementation of technology workstreams across BaxterStorey's mobilisation, refurbishment and transformation projects.
  • Act as the technology lead for BaxterStorey sales bids, ensuring technology solutions are operationally practical, commercially viable and fully integrated into mobilisation and implementation plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive technology audits and site assessments to understand operational requirements, infrastructure readiness, power and data requirements, equipment locations and user needs.
  • Develop clear technology scopes, technical briefs and implementation plans that support project approval, budgeting and successful delivery.
  • Coordinate the implementation of EPOS systems, digital ordering platforms, payment solutions, screens, kiosks and other approved hospitality technology solutions.
  • Act as the link between Projects, Operations, IT, suppliers, contractors and client stakeholders, ensuring technology requirements are understood and integrated into wider project plans.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, actions and technical activities, ensuring milestones, dependencies and go-live dates are achieved.
  • Maintain a solutions catalogue in partnership with the Central Technology Team, detailing use cases, infrastructure requirements, lead times, indicative costs and implementation considerations.
  • Identify and manage implementation risks, site constraints and infrastructure dependencies, escalating issues and driving resolutions before they impact project delivery.
  • Coordinate supplier activity, site installations, testing, commissioning and snagging activities to ensure technology is delivered to the required standard.
  • Support mobilisation and refurbishment projects by providing technology expertise during design reviews, build phases, pre-opening activities and operational readiness checks.
  • Build and lead a network of technology champions and super-users to maximise adoption and ensure solutions deliver operational and commercial value.
  • Facilitate regular project reviews, providing clear updates on progress, risks, decisions and actions to stakeholders.
  • Produce clear documentation, including technology scopes, implementation plans, risk registers, handover packs and post-implementation reviews.
  • Ensure effective handover into Operations, including training coordination, user readiness and support arrangements following go-live.
  • Capture lessons learned and continuously improve the way technology is scoped, implemented and embedded within BaxterStorey projects.
  • Support ad‑hoc digital improvement projects that enhance efficiency, consistency and the overall experience for our teams and clients.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience supporting or managing technology projects, ideally within hospitality, retail or a multi‑site operational environment.
  • Previous operational experience within the hospitality sector.
  • Practical understanding of EPOS systems, digital ordering tools or other hospitality technology platforms.
  • Strong organisational skills and confidence coordinating multiple workstreams at the same time.
  • A collaborative, people‑focused approach, with the ability to build effective working relationships across diverse teams.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail into operationally relevant language.
  • A practical understanding of structured project delivery and the realities of live service environments.
  • Good commercial awareness, with an appreciation of budgets, costs and operational impacts.
  • A proactive mindset, with a willingness to roll sleeves up and support where needed.
  • Flexibility to travel to client sites as required.
