We’re looking for bold, talented, and creative people to join our journey in developing next-generation autonomous vehicles. We’re a growing start-up building our first cohort of engineers, and you can be at the heart of this!
We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead Manager to contribute technically while managing a small team. This hybrid role combines 50% hands-on technical contributions with 50% management leadership responsibilities. You will work across our research team to build, integrate, test, and scale algorithms, tools, and machine learning solutions for autonomous driving.
About you- 7+ years of ML engineering / applied science experience in an industrial research environment
- 2+ years experience managing a small team and technical project through the full lifecycle, ideally within vision or multimodal space
- Passion for working in a team on research ideas that have real-world impact bringing research concepts through to product,
- Comfortable working with large quantities of image and video data
- Good insight into the practical aspects of training, validation, testing, and metrics for deep learning features/models
- Experience working on machine learning algorithms and systems
- A good grasp of machine learning literature
- Strong software engineering experience in Python
- MS, PhD or above in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- (Desirable) Experience working with robotics / self-driving.
