As a Senior Tax Manager you’ll be fully immersed with our experienced Tax team to provide great advice to clients. Life will be fast paced, engaging, creative and rewarding.
It’s a great opportunity to develop and progress within a forward-thinking and fast-paced firm. You’ll:
- Provide ad-hoc advisory tax work with a focus on providing Corporate Tax support to the Tax Director, on a range of project work from Demergers, Company Reorganisations, Mergers and Acquisitions, Company sales and Business Valuation work.
- Line manage the Tax Department and mentor junior staff.
- Manage a small portfolio of High-Net-Worth Personal Tax compliance cases.
- Identify potential planning projects for clients and taking initial briefings on potential opportunities.
- Deal with correspondence or queries from clients and liaising with the Tax Director in respect of correspondence or queries from HMRC.
- Ensure that all Personal, Corporate and Trust Tax work is being carried out in accordance with our high standards and meeting all compliance timescales.
- Assistant and arrange for support to be given and ensure that sufficient training is made available and attended by staff to ensure their level of knowledge is not only maintained but extended.
- Ensure that taxation work is carried out within the agreed budgets, and fees raised by the Department are done so in accordance with forecasts.
- Oversee HMRC enquires, particularly in depth and compliance reviews.
- Ensure all links between audit and administration departments with the tax department are adhered to in line with set procedures.

- Be ATT and CTA qualified (or equivalent)
- Have more than two years of hands-on experience as a Tax Manager
- Experience of managing your own portfolio of clients
