About Lendable

Lendable is on a mission to build the world's best technology to help people get credit and save money. We're building one of the world’s leading fintech companies and are off to a strong start:

  • One of the UK’s newest unicorns with a team of just over 700 people

  • Among the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK

  • Profitable since 2017

  • Backed by top investors including Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs

  • Loved by customers with the best reviews in the market (4.9 across 10,000s of reviews on Trustpilot)

So far, we’ve rebuilt the Big Three consumer finance products from scratch: loans, credit cards and car finance. We get money into our customers’ hands in minutes instead of days.

We’re growing fast, and there’s a lot more to do: we’re going after the two biggest Western markets (UK and US) where trillions worth of financial products are held by big banks with dated systems and painful processes.

Join us if you want to
  1. Take ownership across a broad remit. You are trusted to make decisions that drive a material impact on the direction and success of Lendable from day 1

  2. Work in small teams of exceptional people, who are relentlessly resourceful to solve problems and find smarter solutions than the status quo

  3. Build the best technology in-house, using new data sources, machine learning and AI to make machines do the heavy lifting

The role

We’re looking for a Talent Partner to join our growing team. You’ll have end-to-end ownership of hiring across the Operations function, covering a mix of roles including Complaints, Fraud, Financial Crime and Customer Operations teams. Working closely with hiring managers to build strong, consistent pipelines in a high-volume, always-on part of the business. During quieter periods, you’ll also have the opportunity to work on roles in other area's of the business such as Credit, Growth and Central Business hiring.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You'll own high-volume hiring end-to-end, building scalable processes that keep pipelines moving fast without sacrificing candidate or hiring manager experience.

  • You'll thrive as a business partner to leaders, guiding stakeholder conversations and influencing decisions with data, insight, and empathy.

  • You'll navigate a scaling, fast-paced environment, adapting your process as volume and priorities shift.

  • You'll take a tech-forward approach to the role, using AI and automation to streamline our hiring processes and continuously raise the bar on how we work.

  • You think creatively about sourcing, finding untapped channels and talent pools.

  • You have an analytical and strategic mindset, using historical data to forward-plan pipeline needs.

  • You're skilled at spotting bottlenecks and re-shaping hiring processes to keep conversion efficiency high at every stage.

What we offer:

  • Real impact - see your work directly shape the trajectory of our company. Every hire you make here is a game-changer.

  • Growth - join and learn from driven, smart teammates who push for better, daily.

  • High agency - you’ll own your projects end-to-end, have a genuine seat at the table, and make meaningful decisions that matter—no red tape, just results.

  • Low ego - we value humility, transparency, and the willingness to listen. No politics, just mutual respect and shared wins.

  • Best of both - we’re a financially solid fintech with a start-up mentality. Enjoy the stability and resources alongside the pace, autonomy, and fun of a scrappy challenger brand.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience hiring Operations roles or a track record of managing high-volume recruitment.

  • You have excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and push back, when needed, to drive positive outcomes for the business.

  • You're data driven, you leverage analytics to improve hiring every day and are comfortable reporting on process and outcomes.

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication. You tailor your message to the audience, get buy-in and build trust at all levels.

  • You have experience adopting AI into your every day workflows.

  • You've worked in fast paced, scale up organisations and are comfortable with flexing to support area's outside of your core remit.

Interview process:

  • Screening stage- 15 minute online cognitive assessment followed by a 30 minute Talent screen.

  • Team interview - 45 minute interview with a member of the Talent team.

  • Final Onsite interview - 40 minute task presentation with the Talent team and a 20 minute Leadership interview with our VP of People / Chief of Staff.
