Company Description
Hello! We're Teya.
Teya is a payment and software service provider, headquartered in London serving small, local businesses across Europe. Founded in 2019, we build easy to use, integrated tools that enable our members to accept payments and boost business performance.
At Teya we believe small, local businesses are the lifeblood of our communities.
We’re here because we don’t believe there’s a level playing field that gives small businesses with a fighting chance against the giants of the high street.
We’re here because we see banks and legacy service providers making things harder for them. We don’t think the best technology or the best service should be reserved for those with the biggest headquarters.
We’re here to fight for a future where small, local businesses can thrive, and to commit the same dedication they offer all of us.
Become a part of our story.
We’re looking for exceptional talent to join our mission. We offer a chance to create impact in a high-energy and connected culture, while benefiting from continuous learning opportunities, a supportive community which is proud to serve our mission, and comprehensive benefits.
Job Description
Your Team
We are looking for a Talent Associate to join our talent acquisition team, a group dedicated to scaling critical departments across Teya. This team partners closely with hiring managers, owning end-to-end recruitment processes while ensuring an outstanding candidate experience. As part of the team, you’ll also support initiatives such as employer branding, pipeline management, and team projects that keep us at the top of our game.
Your Mission
You’ll be the organizational backbone of the recruitment process, ensuring that every candidate interaction is seamless, and every detail is accounted for. Whether coordinating interviews, supporting hiring managers with the self-service hiring model we introduced, managing our ATS, or contributing to broader recruitment projects, your role will be pivotal in helping us bring the best talent into Teya.
-
You will care deeply about the candidate journey, you will assist in scheduling and coordinating interviews across multiple time zones, creating a smooth and professional experience for candidates. This could be up to 15 different pipelines with multiple candidates in each.
-
You will be a reliable point of contact for candidates, providing timely updates and support throughout their journey, engaging with recruiters and hiring managers when necessary.
-
Having a keen eye for detail you will be able to proactively identify and resolve scheduling or process-related challenges to keep everything moving smoothly and ensure the experience reflects Teya’s culture and values at every stage.
-
You will be keen to keep our ATS (SmartRecruiters) up-to-date and accurate to ensure the team can track progress effortlessly. You will also help with drafting and posting engaging job advertisements across platforms like LinkedIn and our careers page.
-
For some of our critical roles and ones which we tend to hire for all year round, you will work with recruiters to identify which pipelines that need sourcing support, you will begin to research and map target companies to build a strong network of active & passive talent across key locations.
-
You will support and, in some instances, drive team-wide initiatives such as organising hiring events, improving employer branding and collaborate on projects like diversity recruitment, process optimisation and data reporting.
Qualifications
-
You will bring 1-3 years of experience in recruitment coordination, talent advisory or a similar role. Familiarity with ATS tools (like SmartRecruiters, Greenhouse, Ashby) is a must.
-
You will be organised and detail-oriented, you should be comfortable managing multiple priorities at once and ensure everything is running smoothly. You will achieve this working alongside recruiters and hiring managers.
-
You will not shy away from communicating to team members around any bottlenecks or constraints in the process. You will know how to keep everyone informed—whether it’s candidates, hiring managers, or team members.
-
You may not have been a sourcer in your previous roles, but you will understand the fundamentals and the importance of strong active and passive pipelines.
-
You will be interested in taking the next step in your career relatively soon and will look to take ownership of some roles end to end and learn from others around you as well.
-
At Teya, no two days are the same, you will be comfortable in ambiguity and understanding that some processes may need to be created or defined. This challenge should motivate you!
