As the first Head of Talent, you will lead global strategy to hire the top 0.1% of AI researchers and engineers. You will own full-cycle recruitment and people operations, building an elite team from the ground up for a high-growth startup currently making real-world impact in industrial manufacturing.
Location: Austin, USA or London, UK

What you will do:
Lead global talent strategy to source specialized technical talent, including AI researchers and Forward Deployed Engineers, using non-obvious channels
Own the full-cycle recruitment process, designing high-signal, low-friction interview loops that ensure an exceptional candidate experience
Design and manage all people operations, including compensation benchmarking, performance management frameworks, and the global onboarding experience

Proven track record of hiring exceptional technical talent at high-growth startups, with a deep understanding of what world-class engineers value
A relentless "hunter" mentality with the ability to identify winners from math competitions, open-source contributors, and unconventional talent pools
