Envitia is a UK-based software and services company that helps organisations unlock the full value of their data to make better, faster decisions. With over 30 years of experience, we specialise in delivering innovative software products, solutions, and consultancy services that transform complex data challenges into actionable insights.

Our mission is to empower customers across defence, government, and national security sectors to harness the power of data — from geospatial intelligence to advanced analytics and AI integration. We are proud to be a trusted partner to UK defence and government organisations, delivering technology that drives smarter, data-driven outcomes.

We’re also delighted to have been named one of The Sunday Times Top 100 Medium-Sized Companies, a recognition of our commitment to innovation, collaboration, and creating an outstanding workplace where people can thrive.

The Role

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Partner will lead the attraction, engagement and hiring of technical professionals across Envitia’s Security & Intelligence business.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of recruiting technical and IT professionals within UK Defence and National Security markets, including candidates holding the highest levels of UK Security Clearance.

Working closely with our Security & Intelligence business and People & Culture team, the Talent Acquisition Partner will manage end-to-end recruitment campaigns, build sustainable talent pipelines and provide trusted recruitment guidance to hiring managers.

The role requires a strong understanding of the challenges associated with recruitment in secure environments, including clearance eligibility, nationality requirements, candidate engagement and the limited availability of specialist skills.

This role is offered on a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract. Given the continued growth of our Security & Intelligence business, we expect there to be opportunities for the successful candidate to extend their contract or transition into a permanent position in the future.

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Manage full lifecycle recruitment across technical, engineering and consulting leadership positions.
  • Deliver recruitment activity for roles requiring advanced UK Security Clearance levels across Security & Intelligence programmes.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify hard-to-find candidates.
  • Build and maintain talent pools for current and future workforce requirements.
  • Conduct candidate screening and assessment interviews.
  • Manage candidate pipelines through ATS and recruitment systems.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and define successful hiring strategies.
  • Provide market insight, salary benchmarking and competitor intelligence.
  • Advise managers on security clearance requirements, candidate availability and recruitment best practice.
  • Facilitate interview processes and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout.

Sourcing & Attraction

  • Utilise LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and targeted search methodologies to attract talent.
  • Create compelling job adverts and recruitment marketing content.
  • Support employer branding initiatives and talent community engagement activities.
  • Leverage recruitment technology, automation and AI-driven tools to improve sourcing effectiveness, candidate engagement and hiring outcomes.
  • Promote employee referral campaigns to increase quality hire outcomes.

Recruitment Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Track recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure GDPR compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, systems and candidate experience.
  • Support ongoing talent acquisition projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills Required

Essential

  • Demonstrable experience recruiting technical and digital professionals within Defence, National Security, Government or related highly regulated sectors, gained within either an agency or in-house environment.
  • Strong understanding of UK Security Clearance frameworks and demonstrable experience recruiting candidates across highly security-cleared talent pools.
  • Proven sourcing capability using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques and talent mapping methodologies.
  • Experience recruiting technical roles across Software, DevOps, Data, Architecture and Business Analysis skillsets.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities.
  • Experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

  • Experience creating talent communities for scarce or security-cleared skillsets.
  • Experience supporting employer-branding, inclusive recruitment or employee-referral initiatives.

Security Clearance Requirements

Due to the nature of our work, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain SC security clearance.

Location

This role offers flexible and remote working, with travel to our Horsham office approximately two days per month.
