Who are we?

Tripledot Studios is one of the largest independent mobile games companies in the world.

We are a multi-award-winning organisation, with a global 2,500+ strong team across 12 studios.

Our expanded portfolio includes some of the biggest titles in mobile gaming, collectively reaching top chart positions around the world and engaging over 25 million daily active users.

Tripledot’s guiding principle is that when people love what they do, what they do will be loved by others.

We’re building a company we’re proud of. One filled with driven, incredibly smart and detail-orientated people, who LOVE making games.

Our ambition is to be the most successful games company in the world, and we’re just getting started.

Role Overview

The Talent Acquisition Manager leads a small team of Talent Acquisition Partners while continuing to own hiring for a number of our studios and departments. You will be accountable for the people, performance and process of your pod: setting goals, coaching your team, and making sure the business gets an exceptional in house hiring service that prioritises quality over quantity and an unparalleled candidate experience.

This is a hands on management role. You will still run your own searches, while developing the people around you to do the same.

The type of person who will excel in this role is someone who gets a kick out of seeing others grow, is process driven and highly communicative, takes ownership of outcomes rather than activity, and has a real interest in mobile games. You love looking for ways to optimise and continuously improve how the TA function works, and you care about making sure AI is used in the best ways possible across everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

Leading your team

  • Line managing a pod of Talent Acquisition Partners and Senior Talent Acquisition Partners, running regular 1:1s and owning their development.
  • Coaching your team on the craft: brief taking, sourcing strategy, interviewing, offer management and candidate experience.
  • Balancing workload across the pod as business needs change, and flagging capacity risks early.
  • Setting and upholding standards so the team follows and improves our process rather than working around it.

Partnering with the business

  • Acting as the main point of contact for the Studio leads and CEOs you work with, advising on hiring strategy and market conditions.
  • Working closely with HRBPs and business leaders on headcount plans and hiring priorities.
  • Providing an industry leading candidate and hiring manager experience, ensuring the business is in a strong position to hire and onboard high value talent.
  • Giving consistent, clear updates and being comfortable challenging hiring decisions with objective evidence.

Hiring and market expertise

  • Owning and running your own roles across Group and Studios.
  • Engaging the best talent directly, and building strategies to effectively map and engage the market.
  • Learning about our competitors and keeping up to date with the market so our offers stay competitive.
  • Creating and maintaining talent maps across hard to hire, technical, strategic and operational disciplines.

Process, data and projects

  • Maintaining accurate data across all of our processes.
  • Proactively seeking out ways to improve workflows and systems, and bringing ideas and solutions to the TA Director.
  • Leading or supporting wider projects that add value to the business, such as external events, systems and tools, AI adoption and data and analytics.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • At least 5 years' experience in Talent Acquisition, including experience hiring for technical and hard to fill roles.
  • Experience line managing, mentoring or formally coaching other recruiters, with a track record of helping people improve.
  • Comfortable being accountable for a team's results, not just your own, and able to have honest performance conversations with care.
  • Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders, with consistent, clear updates and the confidence to push back when needed.
  • Inquisitive mindset, naturally curious, asking insightful questions to understand people and the business.
  • Good judgement in making objective decisions based on business needs and gathered insights.
  • Organised and methodical, with a structured approach to your own work and your team's.
  • Proactive mindset, seeking out improvements, potential problems and solutions before they are asked for.
  • Thrives in a fast paced and sometimes ambiguous environment, staying flexible and adaptable as priorities shift.
  • Strong interest in multiple business areas and a genuine interest in Mobile Games and staying on top of industry trends.
