The successful candidate will initially support one key project, with the potential to transition to other projects as needed. This role requires proficiency in CREO and a commitment to delivering high-quality results from requirement to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical Design Engineering Support: Provide expert mechanical design support, ensuring all designs meet project specifications and standards.
- CAD Proficiency: Utilize CREO for design tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all CAD-related activities.
- Project Management: Support the delivery of projects from initial requirements through to completion, maintaining timelines and quality standards.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed design documentation and provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs with other project components.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably within the defence sector.
- Skills: Proficiency in CREO, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
- Security Clearance: Must be SC Cleared and a British National.
