Pre-sales Systems Engineer responsible for designing and architecting enterprise storage solutions, leading technical engagements, running evaluations and benchmarks, authoring RFP/RFI responses, and partnering with sales and product teams to drive customer outcomes and revenue.
The summary above was generated by AI

Everpure (NYSE: P) has evolved from storage pioneer to data platform, closing fiscal 2026 with $3.7 billion in revenue, its first billion-dollar quarter, and accelerating growth into FY27. Our strategic agenda spans the companies defining the next era of technology - hyperscalers, AI labs, the AI hardware supply chain, data platform providers, and the broader AI ecosystem.

This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.

THE ROLE

Everpure is looking for a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to join our UK Enterprise team.

This is not about selling storage, on premise or in the cloud. It is about working with our biggest Enterprise customers and prospects to design, architect and deploy the secure, simplified and sustainable data foundation their business runs on — built on Everpure's Enterprise Data Cloud.

You will align to Account Executives across a pool of opportunities rather than a single fixed patch, so you will be helping to build the territory rather than inheriting one.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop a detailed understanding of what drives a customer's business and what motivates their decision making
  • Connect technology solutions — the Everpure portfolio and others from the ecosystem — to measurable customer business outcomes
  • Partner closely with Account Executives, specialists and channel partners to create a single coherent customer experience, and a strategy that drives revenue growth and net new business
  • Capture requirements and translate a customer's business needs into a solution that supports their growth
  • Take command of the technical side of the sales strategy: evaluations, benchmarks and system configurations
  • Build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations, and secure the technical win
  • Bring domain expertise on storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems and competitive offerings across DAS, NAS and SAN
  • Author responses to RFIs and RFPs
  • Stay current with the competitive landscape and market trends, and make sure our positioning reflects it
  • Lead by example, living the Everpure values: Customer First, Persistence, Creativity, Teamwork and Ownership

WHAT YOU BRING

Essential

  • Pre-sales or Systems Engineering experience in enterprise infrastructure
  • The ability to run technical discovery — uncover the requirements that matter and translate them into the right solution
  • The ability to present and defend a solution in front of a technical audience, and to connect technical differentiators to business value
  • Based in the UK with the right to work here; fluent English
  • Creativity, empathy, an open mind, curiosity and an appetite for continuous learning

Preferred

  • A storage background, whether from a vendor, a partner, or as a customer buying and running it
  • A hands-on or professional services background before moving into pre-sales
  • Partner, reseller or multi-vendor experience
  • Experience selling into Enterprise accounts
  • Current storage and data platform architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, SAN, object)
  • Linux and NFS; general networking including Ethernet and TCP/IP; VMware
  • Public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers and Kubernetes
  • Storage-intensive applications and their requirements — SQL, Oracle
  • Leading or contributing significant portions of RFI, RFP and RFQ responses
  • Salesforce
  • A degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or another technical subject, or equivalent experience
