Job Description

Are you interested in being a key contributor in enabling our Sustainable Operations team to further drive the zero-impact agenda across our factories? Would you thrive in helping us bringing the right data and insights into critical decision making for a more sustainable future?

Core Responsibilities

The Sustainable Operations team is looking for a Sustainability Data Analyst to support the team’s continuous focus on using data to build relevant insights that can help drive the needed change for a more sustainable operations across our factories. The focus is to help the team better understand how they can further reduce energy/CO2, water and waste volumes through insights built on a solid data foundation.

Main responsibilities:

  • Support Key Performance Indicators reporting on energy/CO2, water and waste.
  • Development and maintenance of data intelligence products (PowerBI reports and dashboards) allowing collaborators to easily consume data and insights.
  • Help curate and maintain gold data products within our LEGO Data Platform (Databricks); integrating these into business processes & decision making through relevant reports/dashboards supporting key initiatives to drive sustainable impact.
  • Assist in data architecture decisions and discovery of relevant data sources for sustainability analytics use cases.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data product architecture, processes and workflows.
  • Ad-hoc analysis and project support if needed

Sustainable Operations is global department in the LEGO Group that leads the change journey of minimizing the environmental impact in our factories. We lead, design and implement sustainable solutions primarily within energy/CO2, water, and waste - in a circular approach, which means eliminating negative impact on our local and global environment. Moreover, we are responsible for managing the tracking of realized reductions towards zero-impact. We identify and implement reduction projects in close collaboration with the production sites and other partners.

Do you have what it takes

  • Preferably an education within Information Science, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field or practical experience and track-record with relevant tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis or a related role.
  • Proficiency in data programming languages (SQL) and data visualization software (Power BI).
  • Experience with Databricks would be beneficial
  • Understanding of database management and data warehousing concepts.
  • Positive can-do attitude, with natural curiosity and bravery to challenge constructively.
  • Thorough and detail oriented, strong adaptability and focus to deliver results.
  • Fluent English skills both verbal and written.

The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
