About the role

Working within the Sustainability team, you will support clients, colleagues and properties to deliver best practice in environmental and social sustainability. Reporting to the Senior Sustainability Manager, you will take responsibility for day-to-day sustainability delivery across a portfolio of clients, providing expert advice, monitoring performance and supporting the implementation of sustainability strategies and initiatives.

You will work closely with Property Management, Building Consultancy and other internal teams to develop and deliver practical, effective initiatives across client portfolios. The role will also involve preparing client reports, tracking progress against targets and supporting clients in responding to evolving legislation, industry standards and sustainability priorities.

You will contribute to the continued development of our sustainability services, helping to identify new opportunities, respond to changing client requirements and share best practice across the business.

Day to day, you’ll
  • Manage sustainability data, reporting and compliance, including SECR, GHG, ESOS, GRESB, REEB and Net Zero.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce energy, water and waste consumption across properties.
  • Support health & wellbeing, social value, biodiversity, green travel and occupier engagement initiatives.
  • Embed sustainability considerations into procurement and supply chain practices.
  • Manage external sustainability consultants and oversee the delivery of client projects.
  • Produce regular client reports, provide sustainability advice and communicate legislative and regulatory updates.
  • Develop and deliver sustainability training, guidance and workshops for colleagues and clients.
  • Manage the company’s ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and support the annual audit.
  • Prepare sustainability case studies, award submissions and internal communications to showcase achievements.
  • Keep up to date with evolving legislation, targets and best practice, undertaking relevant training and professional accreditations as required.
