Join us as a Supply Chain Support Lead

  • In this varied and engaging role, you'll support, develop, and deliver supply chain data and tooling solutions that give NatWest Markets (NWM) a competitive advantage
  • You'll support both colleagues within NWM Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) and individual business owners, enabling accurate and timely delivery of reporting, using data from our internal and external supplier portfolios to provide consistent and dynamic insights
  • The work you do will improve the client experience, continually improve our processes, and ensure delivery is aligned with our strategic goals, cost and risk appetite expectations

What you'll do

As a Supply Chain Support Lead, you'll own and deliver process efficiencies, improve the overall turnaround time, and support the team to deliver continuous improvements. You'll interrogate broad data sets across our internal and external supplier portfolios to draw inferences on benefit opportunities and risk exposure. You'll also generate clear, accurate and timely executive-level reporting to support sourcing and supplier decisions.

As well as managing risks, you'll manage the process maps, standard operating procedures, and other documentation related to all processes. You'll support the team in transitioning manual processes to online tooling, driving efficiencies and enabling more dynamic insights that no longer rely on comparing manual data sources. You'll work in collaboration with other teams to improve data quality, consistency and usability.

As well as this, you'll:

  • Champion sustainability by supporting our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) approach
  • Support colleagues within NWM TPRM to develop and maintain online tools, dashboards and reporting
  • Keep iSupply, ServiceNow and other relevant records up to date with accurate information
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and automate manual processes, improving efficiency and reducing reliance on comparisons across manual data sources
  • Deepen the relationships with TPRM functions across NWG and effectively utilise data and analytics reports to identify benefit opportunities, risk exposure and the overall supplier portfolio performance

The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone with supply chain knowledge and strong data analytical and tooling skills, with a demonstrable track record of using broad data sets to generate insight and support implementation. You'll have experience of developing reporting and transitioning manual processes to online tooling, together with an understanding of supply chain models such as offshoring, outsourcing, utility, and make versus buy.

Furthermore, you'll demonstrate:

  • Experience of applying supply chain and data analytical skills and techniques to impact business strategy and outcomes, supplier selection and supplier management
  • Experience in developing executive-level reporting and drawing clear conclusions on benefit opportunities and risk exposure across internal and external supplier portfolios
  • Experience in data management, process standardisation, simplification and transitioning manual processes to online tooling
  • A proven track record in taking ownership for resolving data and tooling issues
