monday.com is the AI work platform powering the most ambitious teams. 250,000+ customers across departments use us to bring people, workflows, and AI agents together on one flexible platform where AI doesn't just assist, it executes. We move fast, build things that matter, and foster an ownership-driven culture where you're empowered to shape how organizations work and outpace their competition.

As a Mid-Market Account Manager at monday.com, you will drive revenue by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities within the segment, helping customers optimise their workflows, increase productivity, and scale their operations.

You’ll own a book of established customers who are scaling quickly and adopting AI in how they work. Your job is to deepen their investment, bring new teams and use cases onto the platform, and become the partner they trust to move faster than their competitors.

We’re early in our growth across the Nordics, so you’ll grow as the region grows. You’ll put your own fingerprints on the territory and access genuine whitespace in a region we’re still building.

This is a quota-carrying role that requires strong sales skills, relationship-building capabilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About the role

  • The Account Manager position is a growth focused quota-carrying position. You will own the full sales cycle, from generating opportunities and building relationships with key stakeholders through to negotiation, contracting and renewal.

  • Research, identify, and engage opportunities within a territory of accounts with existing spend. Prospect proactively into your accounts (cold calls, emails, social selling, networking, etc.) to build a robust pipeline.

  • Use the value framework and MEDDPICC to run robust deal progression in collaboration with management, advancing and closing opportunities with new use cases.

  • Strategically build relationships within accounts to develop qualified champions. Gain access to Director, VP and C-Level economic buyers so monday.com becomes a strategic partner to our customers, aligned to their corporate goals.

  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of monday.com’s solution and connect this knowledge directly to customer ROI.

  • Work closely with the Customer Success team and other internal stakeholders to create the conditions for account growth. This includes helping customers maximise the value from monday.com and explicitly aligning it to positive business outcomes.

  • Continuously build and refine in-depth knowledge of your target industries, including trends, challenges, key players, and opportunities, to effectively position our solutions and add value to client conversations.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3-5 years of sales experience in a closing role at a SaaS or technology company, with a focus on mid-market accounts.

  • Proven Success: Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth. Experience of the Nordics region is preferred.

  • Sales Skills: Strong ability to prospect, qualify, and close deals with mid-sized businesses. Experience with a consultative sales approach.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and relatable manner.

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with technology, with the ability to quickly learn and demonstrate the functionality of software products.

  • CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot for managing sales activities and pipeline.

  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across various teams to achieve shared goals.

  • Builder’s Mindset: Energy for growing something early. You’re comfortable with a territory that isn’t fully mapped and would rather create opportunity than inherit it.

  • Problem Solver: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify business challenges and develop tailored solutions.

  • Customer-Centric: Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and adding value to client relationships.

Please note this is a hybrid role with a 3 day per week in the office requirement.
