About the role
DS Smith is seeking three Supply Chain Systems Specialists to join the business and support Supply Chain colleagues and processes in delivering their business results through best practice use of our systems. Each specialist will lead for either a Corrugated Manufacturing software solution (Advantive’s KiwiPlan or Witron’s CPMS) or Transport Management Solutions.
As one of our Supply Chain Systems Specialists, you will collaborate closely with the Group Supply Chain Systems Manager to plan the systems education and support needed to support Supply Chain transformation initiatives and enhance the effectiveness of our ways of working. You will focus on developing and maintaining optimised, standardised techniques for utilising the Supply Chain modules within our systems and establishing consistent operational methodologies which you will deploy across a global network of Users.
In this role, you will become the master of how to execute our Supply Chain processes within the system and drive continuous improvement with the business teams. This involves understanding the available functionalities, deploying new features, and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and impact with our Supply Chain systems.

As an intuitive systems user, you will understand solution architecture and data principles, allowing you to navigate complex systems with ease. Your analytical mindset will allow you to interpret data effectively, building insights, identifying root causes, and prioritising problem-solving efforts. With strong interpersonal skills, you will influence and gain the cooperation of stakeholders across various functions of the business.
You will be a team player and enjoy collaborating with others, yet also capable of working independently when necessary. We are looking for a results-oriented specialist to focus on facts and figures to perform thorough issue analyses and manage business case evaluations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, is a given, and experience with PowerBI is a significant advantage. Fluent in English, to communicate effectively and are ready to contribute to our dynamic supply chain team.
Minimum requirements:

Experience using Corrugated Manufacturing software (TBC, KIWI or Transport / logistic)

Bachelor’s degree within business/marketing/supply chain, or equivalent business experience

Proven ability to intelligently operate and navigate in a complex multinational matrixed organization

3 years of practical experience of operationally using supply chain systems tools

Intuitive systems user with a basic understanding of solution architecture and data principles.

Ability to influence and gain the cooperation of stakeholders and strong interpersonal skills.

Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel; PowerBI is a strong plus
