Supply Chain Finance S/4HANA Lead

Job Description SummaryGE HealthCare Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) is undertaking a global SAP S/4HANA transformation that will establish a standardised digital core across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Commercial operations. As part of this transformation, we are creating a new role: Supply Chain Finance S/4HANA Lead.
This role will serve as the business owner and transformation leader for all Supply Chain Finance processes within the S/4HANA Transformation programme. The successful candidate will represent Finance in the design, implementation, testing, deployment, and adoption of future-state supply chain finance capabilities, ensuring alignment between operational processes and financial performance management.
The role is critical to delivering an integrated, end-to-end digital core that improves inventory visibility, product costing accuracy, manufacturing financial controls, working capital management, and decision-making across the global PDx organisation.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities

Business Leadership

• Act as the Finance Process Owner for all Supply Chain Finance processes within the S/4HANA programme.
• Represent Supply Chain Finance throughout design, build, testing, deployment, cutover, and hypercare phases.
• Drive business decisions that balance global standardisation with legitimate operational and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with Finance, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Quality, and Operations leaders to ensure successful adoption of the future-state operating model.
• Build and lead a global network of SMEs across PDx manufacturing and supply chain functions.

Process Design & Transformation

• Evaluating current-state ("as-is") processes and identifying opportunities for simplification and standardisation.
• Leading Supply Chain Finance change readiness workshops.
• Ensuring robust integration between Finance, Manufacturing, Procurement, Warehousing, Transportation, and Supply Chain Planning processes.
• Driving adoption of SAP S/4HANA standard capabilities wherever possible.

Testing & Business Readiness

• Define and oversee end-to-end business scenarios for testing.
• Coordinate SME participation across System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Deployment Validation.
• Ensure financial impacts and controls are fully validated throughout supply chain transaction flows.
• Lead business readiness activities, including process documentation, training support, and cutover preparation.
• Support hypercare activities and issue resolution following deployment.

Governance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with GE HealthCare financial control frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Assess impacts to product costing, inventory valuation, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Partner with Internal Audit, Controllership, and Compliance teams to maintain a robust control environment.
• Ensure end-to-end process ownership and clear accountability for financial outcomes.

Value Realisation

• Establish baseline performance measures and transformation success criteria.
• Track benefits relating to: Inventory accuracy, Working capital improvement, Manufacturing cost transparency, Financial close efficiency, Cost reporting and analytics, Process standardisation
• Drive continuous improvement post go-live to sustain programme benefits.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Significant experience in Supply Chain Finance, Manufacturing Finance, Cost Accounting, Operations Finance, or Finance Transformation in a SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Demonstrated experience supporting global manufacturing and supply chain operations.
• Experience with ERP-enabled business transformation programmes.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders across Finance and Operations functions.
• Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional change initiatives.
