We are working as the internal recruitment partner for our client, a global aerospace organisation supporting safe, compliant, and high‑performing supply chains.

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join the Quality function, supporting supplier performance and driving quality improvements across a global supply base.

Reporting into the Group Head of Quality, this role is heavily supplier‑facing, with approximately 75% travel across the UK, Europe, USA, and India. Initially, you will spend 3–6 months onsite to gain a thorough understanding of the business and its processes before transitioning into the travel‑focused nature of the role.

Working closely with Procurement and internal stakeholders, you will conduct supplier audits, manage supplier quality performance, support corrective actions, and help build strong quality communication with vendors to reduce risk and improve overall performance.

Who we are looking for:

  • Experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or aerospace quality
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100 / AS9120 or similar quality standards
  • Experience conducting supplier audits and managing CAPA activity
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to travel extensively as part of the role
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong supplier relationships
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using Excel and Power BI for supplier metrics
  • Proactive, independent, and solutions‑focused approach
