Job Highlights:

Location: TOCA Social, Westfield White City, London, W12 7GF

Reports to: Hospitality Manager

Hours Required: Minimum of 30 per week. Candidates must be flexible to work evenings and weekends.

By joining us as a Supervisor in Training, you will be honing your hospitality skills and developing your leadership skills in close partnership with our Hospitality Managers. We will support your development through structured pathway training, and regular check-ins to ensure you are successful in the role. The dynamic role of a Supervisor (in Training) means no 2 days are the same at TOCA Social! You are responsible for bringing together multiple elements of our guests' journey together to deliver memorable experiences! Role Scope & Responsibilities:

We’re searching for a Supervisor in Training who will work closely with all teammates and venue leadership teams to oversee daily operations, ensuring guests experience a memorable visit. This is a crucial role in supporting and developing our venue teams, by being their go-to for support. Some of your responsibilities will include: 

  • Supporting seamless venue operations and experiences for all guests 
  • Managing teammates to TOCA Social standards, meeting targets and ensuring all teammates are shift ready 
  • Supporting leadership teams and various departments when necessary, being a hands-on team player 
  • Coaching teammates on delivering world class experiences 
  • Providing constructive feedback when appropriate - escalating any issues to the venue leadership team 
  • Ensuring teammates receive a proper induction and any training necessary
  • Assisting with TOCA Talents events 
  • Supporting venue operations during events or with VIP/high profile guests to create awesome experiences 
  • Owning sections/departments at popular times and being able to perform all venue roles & responsibilities 
  • Effectively communicating (written or verbally) with all guests and teammates e.g. stock levels, performance, standards, box demos etc
  • Owning daily reporting and briefings 
  • Developing other teammates skills for future career progression and knowledge sharing 
  • Leading new opportunities/initiatives, encouraging teammate support 
  • Encouraging teammate best practice to meet the TOCA Social standards at all times 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A confident and outgoing team player with 1-2 years supervisory experience within hospitality
  • A punctual and reliable individual with a great attitude and work ethic!
  • The ability to thrive under pressure whilst maintaining a can-do and guest first attitude 
  • A hands on individual who’s willing to support the team and venue leadership 
  • Someone passionate about developing themselves and teammates to deliver outstanding experiences 
  • Flexibility to work across evenings and weekends 
  • A willingness to support teammates across the venue and in varying departments where necessary 
  • Individuals with a vibrant presence on the venue floor and are ready to support teams where needed, maintaining a warm and friendly manner at all times.
  • A quick learner with the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Passionate about delivering top quality experiences 
  • A willingness and desire to make people happy and deliver genuine and memorable experiences
