Healthcare is usually slow and boring. We believe in its potential to be exciting and entertaining. But changing the healthcare experience is hard – and we’re gonna need all the help we can get…!

About Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus (or 'Euc' for short) is an Australian-founded digital healthcare company that is on a mission to solve the world’s biggest healthcare challenges - think fertility, and behavioural change around chronic conditions such as weight loss, diabetes, and mental health.

What we have achieved so far

🚀 Launched 5 demographically tailored brands and facilitated over 1 million medical consultations worldwide (Juniper, Pilot, Kin, Software, & Compound).

🌍 Built a team of approaching 500 Eucalypts in 6 countries (🇦🇺🇬🇧🇩🇪🇯🇵🇵🇭🇿🇦) consisting of medical practitioners, engineers, operators and many more functions!

💰 Raised over US$100M funding from the same investors who backed Canva, Uber, and AirBnB.

🇬🇧 In just over 3 years we have grown the Juniper UK brand, which is now our biggest brand globally!

… and we’re just getting started! Read more about our mission to change healthcare here.

What’s Next?

Off the back of growing the UK business 5x in 2024, we’re now on a mission to support over 100,000 UK patients to live better for longer.

In the UK, we run Eucalyptus’ biggest brand, Juniper. Our mission is to help women feel confident and like themselves, all year round. We’re doing it by re-designing how we talk about and manage the most prominent aspects of women’s health with a patient-first (not doctor or system-first) approach. So far, we’ve supported women with their weight loss journeys. We’ve combined medication with a tailored nutrition and exercise programme, all with the support of multiple healthcare professionals (health coaches, dietitians and pharmacists). In 2025 we plan to expand our services to a wider selection of health and wellness needs.

To achieve this, we are continuously building our team who are passionate about healthcare, willing to work hard and committed to investing in others through direct and honest feedback. This collaborative and proactive approach enables us to make impactful changes, improving the health of millions of patients globally.

About the role (What you’ll be doing)

As a Strategic Partnerships Lead, you’ll be instrumental in unlocking new meaningful revenue streams and building a scalable partner ecosystem from the ground up.

Working with the CCO, you’ll source, cultivate, and shape relationships with influential people, innovative brands and leading companies. The scope includes partnerships across marketing (e.g. new patient acquisition channels, brand ambassadors, retail), our product experience (e.g. key integrations), our expertise (e.g. new advisors) and others that will drive strategic value (e.g. insurance). Given the breadth, we are looking for someone with a rare mix of commercial acumen, creativity and incredible bias to action.

This is a new capability for us in the UK team, so you’ll define the approach and is a rare opportunity to define how partnerships fuel Eucalyptus’ next phase of global expansion.

This includes:

Partnership Strategy & Development:

  • Define the strategic vision for Eucalyptus' partnerships in the UK, identifying key partnership verticals and developing a prioritisation framework and roadmap aligned with our company strategy.
  • Establish clear criteria for evaluating and prioritising potential partners, including inbound opportunities.
  • Develop the measurements of success for the partnership function, including an ambitious revenue goal
  • Define the necessary investments (resources, tools, etc.) required to build and scale our partnership capability.
  • Develop and implement processes for managing the entire partnership lifecycle, from initial outreach to ongoing relationship management.

Partnership Sourcing, Relationship Management and Deal Execution:

  • Identify and proactively source high-value partnerships. Be out there, driving new connections and opportunities.
  • Be a relationship builder. Know how to generate mutual benefit for us and our partners.
  • Lead complex structuring and commercial negotiations for multi-million-pound deals. Be able to articulate the business case and expected returns to Euc executives.
  • Cultivate and manage a portfolio of strategic, high-value partnerships aligned with Eucalyptus' business goals.

Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Operations, Legal, etc.) to ensure seamless partnership integration and execution.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to team members in all partnership development and management aspects.
  • Over time, build out a high-performing partnership team.

About you (Who you are)

  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in pricing structures, revenue models, and complex deal negotiations.
  • Proven track record of expanding into new verticals, acquisitions, and emerging market opportunities within fast-paced growing companies.
  • An understanding of how marketing teams make investments to drive customer acquisition
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, adept at identifying opportunities, establishing trust, and influencing decision-makers.
  • A proactive and results-oriented leadership style, driving projects from ideation through to execution with a focus on ownership and impact and comfortable wearing multiple hats and solving problems creatively to achieve results.
  • A resilient and adaptable personality, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and pivot strategies to overcome challenges.
  • Be incredibly ambitious and always have a 100x shot on goal in mind.
  • A passion for health tech and driving impactful change in patient care.

So, why join Eucalyptus?

  • Make a real impact, fast - We build in the open together, which helps us learn and iterate more quickly so we can deliver high-quality outcomes faster than anyone else. Helping impact patients’ lives for the better from the moment you join Euc.
  • You’ll be supported to accelerate your career - Regular feedback alongside our bi-annual performance reviews, a professional development budget & leave help to ensure you have the support you need to level up. We’re committed to helping every Eucalypt reach their full potential.
  • You’ll work with others who are incredibly passionate about what they do - Our talent bar is high and our work ethic is strong. You’ll get to stretch yourself every day, be given autonomy to tackle interesting problems and work amongst people who care deeply about our patients.
  • We also offer a range of benefits including
    • Your own stake in the business with our employee options program
    • A monthly wellness allowance, for you to spend on whatever wellness means to you
    • A yearly personal development budget and 3 extra days of leave to continuously up-skill yourself
    • 25 days holiday + bank holidays with an enhanced parental leave policy
    • A fun office with regular socials including after-school sport clubs, cycle kickoffs and seasonal parties
    • Your own MacBook and more!
