What We Need

We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Strategy & Operations who will combine product management, project management, and strategic operations skills to propel cross-functional Trust & Safety roadmaps at 2K. This person will operate with a high degree of autonomy, strategic ability, and accountability, and will report directly to the Senior Directory of Trust & Safety.

This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution—able to chart a long-term course while also driving alignment across stakeholders and ensuring day-to-day operational excellence.

What You Will Do

In this role, you’ll:

  • Drive strategic planning efforts: Work hand-in-hand with Trust & Safety leadership to lead regular planning cycles for priorities, budget and staffing.

  • Drive cross-functional alignment: Build program and project delivery models that align product, operations, privacy, legal, marketing and policy teams behind shared goals and player safety strategies.

  • Oversee global compliance and player safety roadmaps: Drive and co-ordinate cross-functional project teams, ensuring that robust, measurable, and scalable solutions are delivered on time.

  • Elevate 2K T&S infrastructure: Partner with our Tech, Customer Success and Business Units to define, design, and deliver reporting, detection, and moderation systems that protect players, reflect 2K brand values, and address regulatory expectations.

  • Operationalize compliance: Translate regulatory requirements (DSA, OSA, COPPA, GDPR, AADC, etc.) into scalable frameworks, workflows and product solutions that keep us ahead of the curve.

  • Lead in optimising and maintaining Trust & Safety metrics and reporting for a variety of audiences.

Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit

The right person will bring a blend of strategy, technical proficiency, execution, and player-first thinking:

  • Strategic ability: You can define the big picture while making trade-offs that appropriately balance safety, compliance, player experience and business considerations. You can translate high-level strategy into operational plans and initiatives.

  • Operational discipline: You know how to run large-scale programs with rigor, clarity, empathy, and measurable outcomes.

  • Product instinct: You understand how to articulate business requirements to a technical audience, are able to design solutions that meet the needs of players and internal stakeholders, and can reconcile strategic objectives with tactical constraints.

  • Collaborative leadership: You can align diverse stakeholders, influence at the executive level, and inspire cross-functional teams to execute behind a shared vision.

  • Player-centric: You make decisions and drive solutions that put player experience at the centre of T&S solutions.

  • Impact-orientated: You consistently apply data-driven thinking to scope problems and evaluate solutions. You define and maintain KPIs and success metrics to track progress towards goals, to identify problem areas, and to ensure that T&S initiatives deliver long-term business value for 2K. You can effectively articulate that value to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

The right candidate would have:

  • Knowledge of Trust & Safety infrastructure, problem spaces, and workflows - or the interest, motivation, and proven ability to learn new industries quickly.

  • Knowledge of the Gaming industry and the compliance and regulatory frameworks that apply - or the interest, motivation, and proven ability to deeply understand and operationalise regulatory frameworks.

  • Proven success leading large, cross-functional initiatives, from design to execution.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management, project management, technical proficiency, and executive communication skills.

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to navigate ambiguity with discipline, judgement and accountability.

Bonus Points for:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Trust & Safety organisation

  • 3+ years in leadership roles in a multi-regional operation

  • Experience working with AI/ML systems for proactive detection and moderation preferred

  • Strong understanding of current approaches for technical infrastructure and systems architecture in Trust & Safety operations, particularly within the gaming industry.

  • Passion for 2K games and our player community.
