- You'll work from home some of the time, and be based in our London office at least twice a week
- This role is available for a period of 36 months to help fulfil the requirements of our Finance Integration Programme
What you'll do
As a Strategic Finance Adviser at Private Banking and Wealth Management, you’ll be supporting our finance integration by contributing to central modelling, developing budgeting and forecasting tools and helping interpret financial and operational impacts across the business. You'll be providing business insights and market knowledge to assist the leadership team to make important decisions.
You’ll also be:
- Managing and refining central models and forecasts using inputs from cross‑functional teams
- Assessing impacts across business areas and translating complex outputs into clear, actionable insights
- Providing investment and revenue tracking along with forecasting reviews
- Using the data and analytics thinking required to solve strategic problems using the latest tools and techniques
- Helping to produce consistent, high‑quality management information and turning analysis or delivery outputs into compelling narratives for senior stakeholders
The skills you'll need
To succeed in this role, you’ll need good stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate and influence. Along with good planning and organisation capabilities, you’ll need the ability to deal with ambiguity, uncertainty and risk and work in a flexible environment.
You’ll also demonstrate:
- Good data analysis and financial modelling skills
- The ability to communicate complex financial information in a concise and non-technical manner
- The ability to create and review plans, forecasts, models and stress scenarios
- Strategic awareness and the ability to apply business knowledge, expertise and challenge to support the business
- Good finance functional knowledge, accounting knowledge and product area and market segment knowledge
