Overview

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

Data is the currency of the modern consumer economy, and the business at the centre of this role is one of the world's leading marketing data, analytics and brand consulting organisations — a company whose insight shapes how the largest consumer and retail brands invest, innovate and grow. Microsoft's UK Enterprise Retail and Consumer Account Team focuses on partnering with this customer to achieve strategic goals.  This team is responsible for providing a differentiated Customer experience for our customers, delivering solutions that result in targeted business outcomes and driving revenue growth for Microsoft.

As a Strategic Enterprise Account Executive, you will drive Agentic Transformation in partnership with a global data, insight and consulting organisation that serves many of the world’s best-known consumer and retail brands. You will shape a strategic roadmap spanning AI agents, Copilot, data, cloud and security, converting priority business scenarios into measurable customer outcomes, adoption and growth for both Microsoft and the customer.

Leveraging your large, multi-functional team across the breadth of the Microsoft solutions portfolio, engage at the most senior levels of your customer and shape hyperscale cloud deployments that migrate and modernise a global data estate, and build joint go-to-market solutions the customer can take to its own clients. Industry experience counts here: the more fluent you are in how data, measurement and consumer insight businesses create value, the faster you will earn a seat at the table.

With a proven history of driving growth in market share, achieving sales targets, customer obsession, and partner collaboration, this role gives you the opportunity to leverage your extensive customer network and sales experience to execute against your customer’s account plan. This opportunity will allow you to accelerate your career growth, develop deep industry acumen in data and analytics, and become adept at structuring large, complex, multi-year agreements. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

Responsibilities
  • You will drive the customer’s Agentic Transformation by aligning senior business and technology leaders around priority use cases, a clear value roadmap, and measurable business outcomes. You will translate that roadmap into qualified opportunities, adoption plans, and scalable execution across the account.

  • You will accelerate customer satisfaction and model executive engagements with business decision makers and C-Level executives.

  • You will win against competition by establishing Microsoft as market leader, maximizing Customer spend, achieving targets (billed revenue, consumption, and adoption).

  • You will lead partnership across Microsoft and the partner ecosystem to land secure hyperscale cloud and agentic solutions — including large-scale migration, data platform modernisation, AI and analytics workloads, Copilot, and AI agents — that deliver measurable business value for the customer and business results for Microsoft.

  • You will cultivate relationships and use Microsoft sales strategies throughout multiple levels of the customer's organization (e.g., executives, business, and technical decision makers) to establish strong alignment on long-term goals and secure buy-in and execution.

  • You will develop joint go-to-market solutions with the customer, using business cases and value proposition presentations that combine Microsoft technology with the customer’s own data and insight products to generate new opportunities, upsell, and co-sell revenue for both organisations.
