Stakeholder Engagement Manager, London, Permanent

Accountabilities- Build and maintain stakeholder engagement plans that support priorities across Pay.UK’s retail payments environment.
- Map stakeholder groups, identify their needs, and keep engagement activity aligned with business objectives.
- Prepare clear briefings, updates, and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholder meetings.
- Organise and run stakeholder meetings, workshops, and review sessions with clear actions and follow-up.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders, identify themes, and turn insight into practical recommendations.
- Work with colleagues across teams to coordinate consistent messaging and timely communication.
- Track engagement activity, monitor risks or concerns, and report progress to relevant teams and leaders.
- Support the delivery of engagement activity for programmes, changes, or initiatives that affect the payments ecosystem.
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships in a regulated, infrastructure, financial services, or similarly complex environment.
- Experience developing stakeholder engagement plans and preparing briefings and updates for different audiences.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and accurately.
- Experience working across teams to coordinate stakeholder engagement activity and ensure consistent messaging.
- Experience identifying stakeholder risks, tracking actions, and maintaining accurate records of engagement activity.
