Stakeholder Engagement Manager, London, Permanent

Accountabilities
  • Build and maintain stakeholder engagement plans that support priorities across Pay.UK’s retail payments environment.
  • Map stakeholder groups, identify their needs, and keep engagement activity aligned with business objectives.
  • Prepare clear briefings, updates, and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholder meetings.
  • Organise and run stakeholder meetings, workshops, and review sessions with clear actions and follow-up.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders, identify themes, and turn insight into practical recommendations.
  • Work with colleagues across teams to coordinate consistent messaging and timely communication.
  • Track engagement activity, monitor risks or concerns, and report progress to relevant teams and leaders.
  • Support the delivery of engagement activity for programmes, changes, or initiatives that affect the payments ecosystem.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships in a regulated, infrastructure, financial services, or similarly complex environment.
  • Experience developing stakeholder engagement plans and preparing briefings and updates for different audiences.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and accurately.
  • Experience working across teams to coordinate stakeholder engagement activity and ensure consistent messaging.
  • Experience identifying stakeholder risks, tracking actions, and maintaining accurate records of engagement activity.
