As a Senior Audit Manager at Pay.UK, you will manage end-to-end audit assignments, supervise audit teams, assess risks, and contribute to the annual audit plan. You will ensure compliance with professional standards, present findings to stakeholders, and enhance internal audit practices.

Design and implement security controls across payments systems and supporting infrastructure. Review architectures, perform vulnerability analysis and security testing, prioritise fixes, support incident response, and produce security standards and documentation while collaborating with engineers to embed security into delivery.

Design, build, test and deploy machine learning and generative AI models for production; prepare and refine datasets; integrate AI services with applications and cloud; document models, pipelines and APIs; monitor, evaluate and improve model performance; collaborate with engineers, data specialists and business teams.

Lead and support day-to-day UK payments operations across Bacs, FPS, ICS and managed services. Manage incidents, participate in shift/on-call rotas, monitor supplier and participant performance, produce operational reports, support onboarding/off‑boarding and documentation, and contribute to change and crisis management activities to maintain resilient payment services.

Support end-to-end supplier assurance across critical vendors: run assessments, issue and evaluate assurance questionnaires, analyse gaps, document residual risk, produce assurance reports, manage evidence collection, maintain GRC data, track remediation, monitor supplier threats and present risk insights to governance.

Analyze product, service and performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for UK payment systems. Translate business questions into analytical approaches, create reports and dashboards, define product requirements and success metrics, track key product measures, document insights, and work with cross-functional teams to support product decision-making and continuous improvement.
