Overview
Currently, we are seeking for a flexible, detail-oriented Junior Developer to join our team for a maternity cover position. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in VBA, Python, or VB.Net who are eager to work on real-world business solutions and adapt to new technologies as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Support:
- Respond to ServiceNow incidents within agreed SLAs
- Communicate directly with users to provide prompt, effective solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to URE and document templates
- Change Requests & Enhancements:
- Implement updates or enhancements to URE templates
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with business standards
- Test and validate changes before deployment, documenting updates as required
- Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Assist in testing changes and enhancements made by other team members
- Execute test cases, document results, and report issues or discrepancies
- Help ensure all updates meet quality standards before release
- Experience developing MS Office applications using VBA
- Strong skills in Advanced Excel and Word automation
- Ability to adapt to new programming languages and tools as needed
- Understanding of how business applications are built, preferably Office-based
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Experience gathering business requirements and working with stakeholders is a plus
