About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and growth-driven Regional Sales Director to lead our Northern Europe region through a transformative phase of commercial evolution. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader with a passion for sales transformation, business development, and innovative go-to-market strategies. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of how we sell, driving sustainable growth, and leading high-performing teams through change at scale.

The role is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating sales business strategies and activities with strong engagement with Business (LOBs) and Functions to ensure business growth in Northern Europe in line with AOP. The incumbent must demonstrate accountability and leadership for functional, business, manage complex issues within a functional area of expertise, involved in long term planning and contribute to the overall success of the delivery of the business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Sales Transformation: Architect and execute a regional sales transformation strategy aligned with global objectives, introducing new sales methodologies and digital tools.
  • Drive Digital Innovation: Be at the helm of our digital transformation journey, leveraging data, automation, and digital platforms to enhance customer engagement and sales effectiveness.
  • C-Level Engagement: Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite executives at key customer accounts, positioning the company as a strategic partner in their transformation journey.
  • Drive Growth: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities across Northern Europe, expanding our footprint in the process automation and solutions space.
  • Business Development: Cultivate strategic relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to unlock new revenue streams and long-term value.
  • Change Leadership: Inspire and guide regional teams through complex change initiatives, fostering a culture of agility, innovation, and accountability.
  • Strategic Thinking: Think big and act boldly—challenge the status quo, bring fresh perspectives, and drive disruptive thinking in how we engage the market.
  • Matrix Navigation: Operate effectively within a complex international matrix organization, collaborating across functions and geographies to align on strategy and execution.
  • Agile Decision-Making: Demonstrate strong judgment and decisiveness in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and empower a diverse, high-performing sales team focused on excellence, collaboration, and customer success.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record in sales leadership within the process automation or process solutions industry.
  • Demonstrated success in leading sales transformation and driving double-digit growth in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of solution selling, value-based selling, and digital sales enablement.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams through change.
  • Fluent in English; additional Northern European languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel across the region as needed.
