The Sr Product Manager, Production Stirred-tank Bioreactor Platform is responsible for leading the strategy, lifecycle management, and commercial success of the production-scale stirred-tank bioreactor platforms, providing cross-functional leadership and guidance to Product Managers to drive portfolio growth and customer value.

This position reports to the Director, Product Management - Cell Growth and is part of the Upstream and Fluid Management team and will be an on-site role at Portsmouth, UK.

What you will do:

  • Own the strategy, lifecycle management, and commercial performance of the production-scale stirred-tank bioreactor platforms, while providing leadership and guidance to Product Managers responsible for day-to-day product execution.
  • Lead product roadmap development, customer insights, and business case creation to prioritize investments and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Drive cross-functional execution with R&D, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams from concept through commercialization, coaching Product Managers to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
  • Develop portfolio and offering strategies that optimize product positioning, market adoption, and global platform utilization.
  • Ensure product availability, operational excellence, and compliance with quality, regulatory, and commercial governance requirements.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering, Science, Business Administration or other related field.
  • Relevant experience in product management, product development, marketing, or related field.
  • Product Management/Marketing knowledge, including market trends/analysis, NPI process, product life-cycle management, product quality investigations and improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability in influencing and leading cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel ~25%, domestically or internationally

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Single-use bioreactor systems, upstream cell culture operations, or bioprocessing technologies, including scale-up and commercial manufacturing applications.
  • Leading new product development, product launches, or lifecycle management within regulated life sciences, biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, or medical technology industries.
  • Working directly with biopharma customers to gather voice-of-customer insights, support design-in opportunities, and influence platform adoption decisions.
