Job Description
We are seeking a Sr Business Solutions Analyst with a strong background in data analysis, software and solution delivery lifecycle experience, and business process optimizations. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in M365 products, the AWS platform \services and Business Intelligence tools to deliver innovative solutions that enhance business operations. This role will also require strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders, developers, and various business\technical teams.
This role will have exposure to exciting projects to include but not limited to Major NBCUniversal Tentpole events as well as the development of innovative solutions that enhance business efficiency, with impacts that are noticeable throughout the entire company. Primary focus will be working with clients to capture detailed requirements, develop dashboard analytics, uses cases and workflows for exciting projects such as Resource Scheduling, Financial Transformation, World Cup 2026, Campaign Management, Global Studios and Asset Management.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide project management assistance for Audit Remediation, and other projects such as Content Media Supply Chain Unified Traffic Onboarding, SharePoint File Migration, Google Analytics and Shared Services AWS projects
  • Design, develop and support Power BI Dashboards and Analytics for multiple areas within Technology, Scripted groups, EHS, Financial and Marketing reporting
  • Lead QA and QA automation for Asset Management and other Shared Services projects
  • Maintenance and Support for E2 Shop and Fleet Agile projects
  • Gather, interpret, and integrate large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources within the company.
  • Analyze data to generate actionable insights, supporting key decision-making processes across business units.
  • Utilize BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to create visual reports and dashboards, helping stakeholders understand data trends and metrics.
  • Assessing risks, opportunities, deliverables, and threats for projects.
  • Work with business stakeholders to map current processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend optimizations.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with business goals, ensuring continuous performance improvement.
  • Oversee the full software and solution delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering to post-deployment analysis, ensuring timelines and business objectives are met.
  • Participate in large-scale, high-visibility projects related to major NBCUniversal events. This could involve delivering data solutions, optimizing event operations, or developing tools that enhance audience engagement and logistical efficiency.
  • Leverage expertise in M365 products and AWS platforms/services to create solutions that are cloud-optimized and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Liaising with clients, technical teams and leadership about timelines and project objectives.
  • Assisting to develop metrics for each project to determine paths to success
  • All other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Technical Fields or Equivalent Experience:
    A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Product Management, Software Development, or another relevant technical field is required. Equivalent experience in lieu of a degree will also be considered, especially if the candidate demonstrates a strong technical background and process optimization expertise.
  • 5 Years + of Business Analysis or Process Improvement Experience:
    5 years + of professional experience in business analysis, process optimization, or similar roles where you've directly influenced the improvement of systems, workflows, and project outcomes. Experience working with both technical and non-technical teams to drive operational efficiency is a must.
  • Expertise in Microsoft 365 Tools, Business Intelligence, and AWS Platforms:
    Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, SharePoint, Teams, PowerApps, and Power Automate, is essential. Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI (or equivalent) and exposure to AWS platforms/services is also highly desirable. This role demands the ability to create and manage complex reports, automate workflows, and collaborate efficiently across cloud-based platforms.
  • Agile Software Development Experience:
    Solid experience working in Agile software development environments is critical. The candidate should be familiar with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative development cycles, as well as have experience in managing project adjustments based on Agile feedback loops.
  • End-to-End Software and Solution Delivery Lifecycle Management:
    Demonstrated ability to manage the entire software and solution delivery lifecycle-from initial requirements gathering, analysis, and design, through to implementation, post-deployment support, and project retrospectives. The ideal candidate will have experience ensuring project success and managing expectations from both technical teams and clients throughout this process.
  • Experience with Technology-Enabled Projects:
    A strong background in working on technology-enabled projects, especially those that integrate technical solutions into business processes, is required. This includes working with IT infrastructure, software products, and emerging technology solutions.
  • Client-Focused Solutions Development:
    Ability to utilize specific business and system expertise gained through active engagement in understanding the client's environment to identify their needs, define solutions, and ensure successful implementation. Proven capability to analyze client needs and business processes to propose effective technical solutions.
  • Prioritization and Multi-Tasking Abilities:
    The ability to manage multiple, competing priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes is crucial. The ideal candidate must be able to juggle various projects and tasks without sacrificing attention to detail, ensuring deadlines are met across the board.
  • Incident Management and Stakeholder Communication:
    Demonstrated leadership in managing high-severity incidents. This includes running point on incident response, ensuring swift resolution, and maintaining clear, effective communication with stakeholders throughout the process. Experience coordinating incident responses and driving root cause analysis will be beneficial.
  • Process Improvement and Workflow Analysis Expertise:
    Expertise in analyzing workflows and creating process maps to identify areas of improvement. This role requires a candidate capable of translating complex business processes into clear, actionable plans, ensuring alignment with technology solutions.
  • Knowledge of Planning Tools and Methodologies (JIRA, ServiceNow):
    A deep understanding of project management and planning tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar platforms is essential. Familiarity with task management, resource planning, issue tracking, and reporting tools will be a major asset.
  • Adaptability to Changing Priorities and Deadlines:
    Flexibility and resilience to adapt quickly to rapidly changing priorities, deadlines, and project scopes, while maintaining a high level of productivity and quality.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
    A data-driven mindset with strong analytical abilities is required. Candidates should employ a hypotheses-driven approach to solving complex problems, ensuring that their solutions are based on thorough analysis and informed decision-making.
  • Collaborative Spirit and Shared Product Ownership:
    A collaborative approach to work, with the ability to share product responsibilities and work cross-functionally with both technical teams and business stakeholders. This role demands teamwork, communication, and collective ownership of project success.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with API integrations, AI technologies, and\or java scripting
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
  • Understanding of business intelligence data transformation and analytics best practices


Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the Telemundo Center, Miami, Florida office a minimum of three days per week.
