Bid Manager (BM), you'll play a critical role in securing those major RFP deals—leading cross-functional teams, crafting compelling proposals, and helping convert over €500M in pipeline opportunities into signed deals. You’ll be the central point between customers, sales, product, legal, and technical teams, making complex solutions clear, competitive, and customer-focused, in the context of exciting, large-scale projects.

As part of the COO Bid Management organization, you will report to the Head of Bid Management EMEA. You will define the action plan, deliverables, and RFP milestones, ensuring seamless execution by all stakeholders.
  • Defining Winning Bid Strategy: You will collaborate with the bid team to develop a compelling, competitive strategy, taking into account the customer context, market dynamics, and the company’s Go-To-Market approach.
  • Managing Bid Requirements: In partnership with the Bid Intake Manager, you will structure and document the customer requirements, ensuring an efficient, traceable, and high-quality response from the different stakeholders.
  • Coordinating and governing the bid effort: You will oversee end-to-end stakeholder collaboration, ensuring alignment and smooth proposal progression. You will coordinate the required approvals across technical, commercial, legal, and delivery functions, while ensuring that commitments, assumptions, and key decisions are clearly documented and governed throughout the bid process.
  • Commercial governance and business case management: In partnership with the Bid Assessment Manager, you will support the development and validation of the bid business case, ensuring the opportunity is thoroughly assessed from a financial and commercial perspective. This includes contributing to the evaluation of profitability, risks, commercial implications, and investment considerations, while fostering alignment on key commercial decisions.
  • Negotiating and Refining: Post-submission, you will coordinate customer presentations, refine the proposal based on customer feedback, and orchestrate negotiations until final acceptance.
  • Handing Over and Optimizing: Upon successful bid nomination, you will facilitate a seamless transition to the program execution phase. You will be also gathering feedback on bid results and identifying lessons learned to continuously improve future bids.

With a focus on structured execution, you have the ability to simplify and communicate complex ideas persuasively, both internally and externally.
