Job Description

This is a 12moth FTC opportunity

Context

The Finance Systems Team is part of Finance Operations and Projects which in turn is in the Group Finance and Performance Management team.  The purpose of the Systems team is to govern and optimise the AA Finance global systems on a sustainable basis and to ensure that AA Finance has the requisite systems, to deliver and exceed business expectations with strong connections across process, data and people capabilities.  Responsibilities extend to business as usual management and support of the systems and to identify, define and deliver opportunities for operational performance improvement as well as exploring enhancement to systems design and system solutions to deliver new use cases.

Purpose

The focus of this role is the range of Workiva Wdesk solutions used across AA with additional responsibilities for Vivantio use in support of processes within scope of the FinOps Systems team initially under the guidance of the Specialist, Wdesk but becoming more self sufficient with experience.

Key tasks:

  • Execute day to day activities related to business as usual use of Wdesk solutions across AA plc.
  • Coordinate and prioritise change requests with key stakeholders managing delivery by the support partner to agreed timelines ensuring change processes and management are fully adhered to, ensuring continuity and risk management.
  • Identify improvement initiatives and support local workspace owners across the solutions.
  • Manage roll forward and release activities across workspaces in preparation for upcoming reporting cycles.
  • Manage incidents to close coordinating across stakeholders.
  • Proactively communicate planned or unplanned system outages and support the process of functional upgrade releases from Workiva.
  • Ensure adherence to controls, compliance and audit processes and requirements, owning and executing controls, responding to audit queries and support the SOC review process.
  • Provide subject matter expertise or leverage subject matter experts to support design and optimisation.
  • Maintenance and development of training material and documentation including delivery of training.
  • Optimise the use of partner capability and capacity.
  • Review vendor delivery.
  • Support the renewals processes for vendor support and software agreements across the FinOps scope.
  • Support colleagues in the use of Vivantio managing change and sharing good practice.
